Ok, so you're driving around the middle of Kentucky on the back roads and lost among the white fences and horses... just  looking for the Bluegrass Highway to get to Louisville... sounds reasonable right?

So what do you find? A CASTLE?

Yes, a castle.

So, when one finds a castle, what does when do in reaction?

Explore it of course!

With that curious mindset and explorative nature, three of us set out to see what in the heck was happening with this random castle. So, we hopped the fence and hiked the 100 yards up the grass to the castle walls. Just as we tried to find a way to peer through the gates...

A truck speeds through the yard going 60 mph! The window rolls down.. "This is private property! You are not allowed here!". Wow, I'm thinking, you build a castle and expect people not to check it out?

Then we get "I'm calling the cops, off this property!"

Whoa! Guess it's time to resume our roadtrip!

So, 5 stars go to the Martin Castle, because... where else are you going to find a castle in Kentucky!?
