7 reviews for Marriott Courtyard Hotel
Eric T. and his 'mo ho' are two of the boogiest motherfuckers you'll ever meet. We enjoy sippin' on no-name, house brand vodka in hotel lobby bars while watching crap television on cable TV.
The Courtyard by Marriot Hotel is one of those newly renovated hotels geared towards the corporate travelers in Downtown Long Beach. It's walking distance to the convention center and downtown Long Beach make this hotel a perfect breeding ground and watering hole for horny-drunk suits and LA's favorite, the Cougar.
Wether you're begining your night out, looking for a sugar daddy to finance a new pair of tits or a looking to domesticate an aging femme fatale, this is your spot, bitches. Look for Amy or Noemi and have them take care of you. Their specialty include drinks called "Green Thing" and "A Walk On The Beach". Total fucking Panty Droppers. And if you do decide to PD your way into financial security (I don't judge), I heard they renovated their rooms 2 years ago.

Fine for a stay, but a tad less classy as some of the Courtyard's I've frequented. Would have been four stars, but the hot tub was, well, a bit yellow? I was looking forward to a dip, but elected for a hot shower instead.
Also, the exercise room is small, and poorly equipped for a solid workout.
Other that that, it is a nice value if you can grab it on Priceline...

no complaints. we had a good stay here. really close to the beach! we just walked! the room was huge and there was plenty of mirror space outside the bathroom and in the bathroom so fixing hair/doing makeup with several girls in the room was no problem. the shower could have better water pressure... but oh well! the beds were so comfortable. i woke up in the middle of the night and forgot where i was, and felt something next to me so i thought it was my purse and was gonna grab it to put it on the floor. turns out it was my sisters butt. oops. we didn't see much of the hotel except for the elevator, our room, and the lobby. but from what we did see, thumbs up! oh and the parking lot is just right across and so it's easy to access your car.
This is the first Marriott I have liked in a long time, and considering all the traveling I have done over the past year, that is saying something. Stayed here a night because I went to an event at the Queen Mary, and this seemed like a good local hotel.
The location itself was a bit tricky - I couldn't find the entrance the first go around. Probably because they had some large truck blocking part of the entrance so I didn't quite see it.
Parking is $7, but they didn't charge me (probably because I was using my points). The rooms were pretty good, they looked fairly newly decorated but having no fridge or microwave kind of was a bummer. The bathrooms were good, though, had large mirrors and good lighting in there.
The staff was friendly and courteous, and although security did pay us a visit (hanging out with friends at 1am while they've all had a lot of drink did make them a bit rowdy), they were polite and professional. Checkout was easy and if I was in the area, I'd stay here again.

I'd only give it 2 stars since it's not the cleanest hotel around, the elevator had a bunch of crap in it that never got cleaned up while we were there. Looked like smooshed up pork rinds. Also, our coffee maker had old coffee and grounds in it when we checked in. Ew.
The pool is small but we only used the hot tub anyway. The 'rules' include:
Take a warm shower with soap before entering
Do not use alone
Whatever. They get an extra star for having the most comfortable beds in the universe. And they wash all the linens every night, huge bonus.
$7 parking.
I am giving them 4 starts from the business side, and would do 5 if I had stayed there. We use The Courtyard as a backup for the other hotel were we put guests/employees of our company. The staff is always willing to get our guests in and take care of anything that comes up. Garlonn is in the sales department and I must say that she is perhaps one of the best hotel sales reps that I have ever dealt with. I feel that she honestly wants our business and wants to make a relationship work. I have dealt with her now for almost 3 years and would highly recommend her if you are looking for a place for your business guests to stay. She is very thoughtful and helpful. I know they just did a renovation and it looks great! Great location too.

We came her last year and it was a typical courtyard. A little scrungier, so I gave it one star less than I normally do.
