Neighborhood: La JollaThis is one of my favorite restaurants to go to for lunch. Their greek salad with chicken is AWESOME. If you like fish, it also rocks with fish, but I am partial to the chicken. Their hummus is yummy as well, and I am picky with my hummus.
I love the seating outside, it's one of the better places in Mira Mesa / Sorrento Valley for outside seating. You have a choice of shade or sunny spots. Plus, their is an entire food court for anyone not too into the whole Mediterranean food thing.
Had take out here.
The corn on the cob is amazing! My wrap was I tiny bit too big I think.
The staff was very very cool and quick! I will keep going here for sure.
Fantastic food here! The salmon is amazingly fresh and tasty. Any of their bowls are great as well. I recommend getting the herb rice on any of the plates. The soups are great as well.

I love this place. I got there with my mom when I visit her at work. We walk there and sit outside on the patio. I usually get the salmon bowl with herbed rice and sirazi salad. The salmon is always cooked perfectly. it's nice and caramelized almost crispy outside and perfectly tender and moist inside. I usually don't order salmon out because I have a love hate relationship with it. I love it when my husband cooks it for me and hate it when I order it out. This is the ONLY place I will order salmon because it's that good. Aside from the food you get a great deal, they give you a big piece of fish and all the other stuff for around $9 (don't quote me on the price). All i know is I leave there very happy with my meal and with some cash still in my pocket especially after dining out in La Jolla.
The first time I went there I was hesistant to order the salmon b/c of my feelings towards it, so I got the falafel. It was good, a bit dry for my taste. My mom ordered the salmon and i had a taste and i was hooked. Since then i've never ordered anything else.
the 4 stars is for the falafel. 5 for the salmon, 5 for the venue.

I love this place! I first ate here with my parents, who eat here frequently. The owner is really cool, knows people by name, and the atmosphere is nice. You can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather while eating your skewers and hummus (MMMMMMMM). It's in a cute little shopping nook with the most upscale corner liquor store I've ever seen (LJ Country Market, get your wine to drink with dinner here), and two or three other restaurants (Porkyland has good mexican food!).

I"m not quite sure what is qualified as Mediterranean food but this is pretty good stuff. I had a mahi mahi entree in a tostada type shell with rice and veggies inside the shell. It was all very tasty but the mahi mahi was just so so but I guess you can't expect great quality mahi mahi from a non-seafood place. I didn't go there because my company had this food catered but I would go there to check it out sometime.

I've never had anything here i didn't like. The wraps rock, the salads are divine, and the service is excellent. I ordered something to go and while i was waiting, they gave me a cup of soup on the house to sip on. Who does this!!??

The price is right, and the food is full of flavor. Great for take out and going to the beach.
PRetty good middle eastern food. Good wraps and the hummus plate is also very good.
There are one primary problem with this restaurant: find a parking space. THe strip mall is always totally screwed up, and good luck finding street parking. Once that hurdle is cleared you should be okay, even though sometimes finding a table can be difficult as well.
The prices are above average, but it is not excessive. Good luck with the parking

I've been eating at the grille since college (um, just a few years back, really ;) and still love it! I went back recently and had a slice of heaven, a.k.a the chicken wrap. It is amazing! Their food is authentic, service is great and a really great lunch spot!! A must try in La Jolla.

The marketplace Grille is a great place to eat a healthy and delightfully Mediterranean meal.
The Grille has a small interior, but there is plenty of space outside. The Freshness, quantity, and savor of the food makes it one of my old time favorites for a Persian cuisine craving fix. Their shirazi salad and chicken plate are delicious. All entrees come with basmati rice, salad, and lavash bread. The price range for entre plates starts at $6.95 and ends at $9.45. The portions are copious, and the menu is extensive, including soups and salads, Mediterranean bowls, wraps, falafels and a multitude of side orders. The service is always pleasant and jovial.
