We had such a fabulous time here.  The inn is close to the downtown area and has street parking out front.

Our room was really comfortable, with armchairs, a gas fireplace (that we couldn't get to work, but didn't try that hard), and a king-sized bed.  The sheets were heavy and super high quality, and there were extra pillows and blankets in the armoire.  We had a tv and DVD player/VCR, but we didn't use it at all.  There are also movies to borrow, in case you didn't remember to bring something along.  The bathroom had a two-person jacuzzi tub, which was a romantic treat.  There were also robes for us to use.

The inn keepers were away (they are supposed to be a hoot and characters) but the assistant took great care of us.  Our breakfasts were three courses, starting with fresh fruit, then a sweet starter (gourmet French toast one day, jam-y, butter-y philo dough roll ups the next), followed by eggs cooked to order, breakfast meats and toast.  We rolled ourselves away from the table each day.  There is real butter on the table and real cream in the milk pitcher, too.

There is afternoon wine and cheese service and a common area fridge stocked with soda and bottled water.  It was like a home away from home.

The stray hairs in the bathtub, pieces of clothing tags on the dresser, and soda cans in the recycling bin that greeted us in our room kept this from being a 5 star review, but for a small town bed and breakfast, it really was great.

Oh - one more thing:  The innkeepers can't control this, but there are trains that roll through the town, approximately between 5 and 7 am, which blow their whistles while going by.  It's less than ideal for people who like to sleep late, but sporadic and brief if you're the type of person who can go back to sleep afterwards.
