5 reviews for Mariscos El Perihuete
My sister in-law always likes to order either Camarones Costa Azul or the Camarones Ahogados.
I love the coctel de camaron.
my daughter gets to try various seafood dishes since her friend's family own it.
I'll update it with pics soon
stand by!
i like , great
mexican seafood
many dishes
attentive service
hole in the wall literally
beer
great sea food
you are going to make a line most of the time but it well worth it
location kinda hidden
they have a great caldo de camaron but any thing you get here is great
there's always a line, we've gone weekend mornings and afternoons and always had to wait for a table. its better than your usual mexican seafood restaurant. they don't serve beer so we usually get a case of corona at the liquor store next door and the waitress will give us cups to pour them into to drink discreetly.
i always order 'costa azul' which is deep fried bacon wrapped shrimp filled with cheese, it comes with your usual side of beans and rice. their rice doesn't have any color but has veggies in it. so delicious. everything is tasty so feel free to try a few things!
mmm now i want some perihuete!
Zee was right, there is *always* a line out here and Mariscos has been in SG forever and a day - a local landmark really. Great seafood, great and speedy waitstaff and totally good times good fun family dining. I am not a big fan of seafood myself but I do enjoy a spicy shrimp cocktail every now and then.
