I actually went to the second floor Cocowalk location
basically a half quesadilla for 3.25
i had the jamaican jerk chicken -- wimpy spice flavor.
it's all right if you want a snack, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
This place is now called International Quesadilla Company, same contact info, same management. Apparently the name change was because nobody knew how to pronounce and/or spell Mari-Nalli.
Name aside, this is a very solid lunch option for downtown Gables denizens. Quesadillas are flaky and light; cheese is well-portioned, not greasy, and complements the other fillings. Chips were particularly good - more tostada than corn - as well as the salsa, which was a thicker pure kind of thing. A shrimp "ceviche" was really the only culinary letdown: a bunch of boiled shrimp dropped in a green saucy amalgam. I recommend you use the phrase "green saucy amalgam" today, hopefully in reference to a person.
Also, IQC looks exactly like Starbucks. The murals, the furniture, the blackboards, the light fixtures, everything except for the proverbial creepy guy in the corner with a laptop. It's worth a try.
