Education is everything to a mom.  My daughter goes to Marin Horizon School and I could not love it and her teachers anymore than I do.  She is in their primary program.  The classrooms are 3, 4 and 5 year olds together.   My daughter is a September baby so when she started 2 years ago, she wasn't even 3 yet.  She was the youngest in her class.  I remember my first parent/teacher conference, I asked "What does Olivia do in circle when you are brainstorming words for the letter of the week?  Does she even know her letters?"  Debbie and Liz told me "She zones out, but you can tell, something is soaking in."  She is now 4 and can spell 3 letter words, read, color, draw.  I am amazed every day with her desire to learn new things.  My 2 year old son is starting in September--they will be in the same classroom--which I Love.
It's a wonderful school--very hard to get into, but if you do, its worth it!
