Interesting little store here which served us natives well as we failed to remember that we were near the ocean which of course means colder weather!

We went in looking for sweaters and quickly found a selection that sufficed, however there are no kids items except for a few T-Shirts on sale.

HOWEVER, if you're planning on hiking here and forget your sweater, be warned that the constant uphill hike will mean you will be taking off your sweater within 10 minutes!! $24.95 x 2 down the drain! I can find some solace in the fact that my purchase helps preserve parks for the future or so the tag says! ;)

This appears to be a tourist stop as well as when we arrived there was a large tour bus letting passengers off for a potty break. Although parking is limited we had no issues finding any, but finding the actual Visitor Center proved otherwise. I wish I could provide tips, but I'm still turned around!

Happy hiking!!

A nice little visitor center that will help you get your bearings.  Fairly good selection of tourist type books based on the headlands, lighthouses,  and nature.  Displays tell a bit of the history of the area,  Point Bonita Lighthouse and animals that you will find in the headlands.  Rangers on site to answer all your questions.  Public restrooms outside.  Plenty of parking.
