Recently, we hosted an intimate dinner party in our home and I wanted the menu and service to really shine for my guests.

Christa made wonderful recommendations and gave me plenty of menu options to choose from. She and her team arrived promptly and proceeded to work their magic in the kitchen.

The dinner was absolutely sumptuous and the service flawless. Our guests were so impressed and many asked for second helpings!

I hired Christa to cater a small dinner party in my home. Christa was really great working with me in the planning process and providing menu options to meet various dietary restrictions. On the night of the event I was blown away. The food and presentation surpassed my expectations. All of my guests commented on how the food was gorgeous and delicious. You can tell that Christa really loves what she does. Christa truly helped make the evening a special event. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. In fact, I may never cook again for a party!

Christa joined four of my sorority sisters and me at my house Saturday night. We get together almost every year and enjoy fun things. I ordered aprons for all of us and we jumped right in to make pasta, appetizers and desert. Christa is accommodating and a great chef and instructor. I will call her again!

Marin Cooking has been catering events for me for years. The latest event I hosted entailed catering for 90 and the delivery was flawless. I just graduated from Christa's six month professional pastry course and couldn't have been happier. She is an excellent chef and a fantastic teacher - always willing to help in and outside of the classroom. Having worked in a number of the best bakeries in the Bay Area, she is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to offer up helpful advice on ways to become more refined and efficient. As an added bonus, while firm and instructive, she is always cheerful and ready to laugh and chat with her students over a dessert or two at the end of class! I would recommend her to anyone interested in culinary classes.

Well, Chef Christa did it again! I hired her for my 60th birthday party last year and was so pleased with the evening that my husband called on her again for my 61st birthday dinner. This evening was truly a gift, not only to me but to my family & friends who shared in the amazing celebration experience. True to form, the entire dinner was absolutely delicious and my birthday cake was a work of art. Chef Christa is a breeze to work with and always leaves the kitchen spotless. We all enjoyed the evening so much, I'm thinking of doing it again for my half birthday! Get ready, Chef, I'll be calling on you again in January! I'm a bit hesitant to give away my best secret but I use Marin Cooking for almost every occasion I host now. Christa has done everything from girls nights to parties for 80 on my deck to a fancy holiday party with a dinner buffet for 50 to a charity event I organized for 400. I've also used her for intimate dinner parties.
I love to cook but honestly, I really can't do it for much less than I pay Christa and the food and service are impeccable and I get the benefit of not being stressed. People are constantly asking me to host events at my house now. I like to think it's my charming personality :) but I think it's Christa's cooking and how easy and fun it is for everyone. I can't recommend her highly enough. She does drop off dinners and full catered events.

Our moms group just did a cooking party with Christa and it was such an awesome time. We were in teams of two and we each made a side dish. There were 6 total dishes and every single one of them was amazingly delicious. One was a mushroom bread pudding. I don't like mushrooms but this was so savory and tasty I couldn't stop eating it. Everything about the cooking party was top notch. The best part was after cooking and eating all our yummy dishes we didn't even have to clean up. I would highly recommend this type of party.

I recently hosted one of Christa's cooking parties for 8 people. It was a really fun evening - the food was delicious, Christa was super prepared, taught us all some new tricks in the kitchen and left our kitchen sparkling clean. I would definitely do this again.
