First things first, when you have hair as good as mine you don't let just anyone cut it. However a little while ago I was in desperate need of a cut, and rushed into a place because they had a coupon. Bad mistake.
After letting it grow out a little bit I decided to give marie a call. See she, Marie, used to do my hair but I stopped going to her for convenience (what a dummy I was) but now I am back for good.
Marie and Blair are both awesome people and genuinely good to talk with, not like so many stylists where it feels forced. The new place in Candler Park is super easy to get to and is bright and airy without being too big.
My hair no longer looks like Ringo Star, which is a giant plus in my book and I wont need to go back for 8-10 weeks which is also good.
Dont come here looking for not so fantastic sams, this place is legit and the ladies are very talented and youll pay for their expertise but youll appreciate the terrific cut they give you and youll know it was money well spent. -

I desperately needed a haircut and a friend had highly recommended Blair and I must say, that recommendation was well deserved.
My hair was a total mess. I had not had it cut in an embarrassingly long time, so I knew whomever was going to be blessed with this challenge, would have to work a miracle. In an hours time, I went from looking like an absolute slob to (dare I say) a hot little lady!
This was the first time I'd gone in to have my hair done without a photo example of what I wanted since I had no idea what to do. Blair and I talked about what kind of hair I had, my routine, etc. and she basically analyzed what would work best for me. Little by little, as the scissors snipped and hair fell away, my new hair started to take shape and I was in love.
In addition to her doing an absolutely perfect job on my haircut, she is the nicest person and so fun to talk to.
Long story short - I highly HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend seeing Blair. She's super fun AND super talented. What more can you ask for? Oh and I forgot to mention: the salon is really cute too!Listed in: Make Me Pretty

I don't know why I have such a hard time finding someone to cut my hair and make it look good. I had the same problem in NYC and I had the same problem in Atlanta, until Blair from Marie Marie started cutting my hair about 2 years ago. I've been delighted after every time I get my hair cut here. Although I liked the old location on Hosea I'm really digging the new location. Thanks for being my "spot" in Atlanta. It was a rough few years before I found you.

Blair at Marie Marie is fantastic! She's everything a great stylist should be: charming and knowledgeable with a great eye for the details. The salon is a beautiful space that's welcoming and cool. Marie Marie = win win.

Hokay, so...
Per my previous reviews, I am very persnickety about my hair. PER-SNICK-ETY.
So I really did enjoy getting my hair cut at my previous salon. But I moved and the price tag for my hair was just too much for me. So, I decided to scale down on price (but definitely not on quality) and turned to yelp for help.
I read about Marie Marie Salon and how Marie was amazing at hair and so on and so forth. I am always cautious cuz I have been burned in the past and was not impressed.
I walked in early (when I go to a new place I always tend to be super early, but hey). The parking lot was deserted but it looked cute from the outside. I walked in and she had the most cute 1960s hair driers! GAH ADORABLE!
Okay long story short: Marie cut my hair beautifully! I was worried when she styled it wavy and how it was gonna look when it was straight. I cried when my hair was straight. It looked FABULOUS then too. Oh my gosh! I haven't felt this way about my hair in YEARS! Possibly a DECADE! HOLY SH*T!
I love my hair cut and Marie had me talking about things that I wouldn't even share with my Mother! Marie there is a great stylist. The best ones know how to get you talking and if they get your whole life story in 45 minutes THEIR GOLD.
So here's to Marie, you're fabulous and you know how to put people at ease. May you NEVER leave Atlanta and ALWAYS do my hair. I could not be happier to review you and your salon.

I lost my old stylist and it has taken four years of searching, but now I've found Marie and the search is over. I've been back several times and always feel great when I leave.
An appointment is a must.
She now takes credit cards. -

Marie Marie Salon is THE BEST. Hands down. I am now a loyal client.
I am really picky about my hair, and I expect a lot. I found Marie Marie Salon through Yelp because I wanted to try something new, and I haven't been a 100% satisfied with my experiences elsewhere. I've been salon hopping my whole adult life, but those days are no more!
I have never walked out of a salon absolutely content with my hair and salon experience until I visited Marie today. Not only is she an amazing hairstylist with great technical skill and artistic sense, but she is also a great person to have a conversation with. Overall, the whole experience was very pleasant.
She spent so much time on my hair, and she was incredibly knowledgeable when discussing ideas for future hairstyles! You can tell she is a master at what she does!
I'm referring her to all my friends. -

I scheduled an appointment with Marie to get my hair colored. I had such an awesome experience. Not only did she color my hair, she took me back and explained how to choose the shade of color for my hair. She did this because I shared how obsessed I have been with coloring my hair. She's a great conversationalist. She corrected my hair color without charging me an absurd amount. She didn't get the color all over me which has been a problem at other places. Really great service at reasonable prices. I highly recommend her. FYI: You gotta make an appointment and she only accepts cash and check.

I love MarieMarie! Marie does great dye and cuts, and she's also exceedingly pleasant and unintimidating (a major bonus compared to some of the bitchy hair people I've seen). Above all she has good ideas to make you look better and more fashionable.

This small salon houses some great stylists. If you have curly hair, I highly recommend Natasha. I had the same stylist for 13 years and then he disappeared, and I went to Natasha after she was recommended by friends. Not only was it my first haircut in almost a year since losing the other guy, but I decided to go short for the first time in my life. At that first appointment, Natasha took the time to talk to me, look at pictures, and make a game plan. I could not have been happier and have been going to see her ever since.
The salon itself is clean and bright, with three chairs. The staff is friendly and personal. The small space lends itself to an intimate feel and you will find yourself in conversation with both Marie and Natasha and any other client in there, if you are inclined.
This is a great intown salon with reasonable prices for great style. -

Both Marie and Natasha are amazing. Marie is a color genius and her sassy cuts keep me looking edgy but refined. It's a small cozy salon with a very personal touch. Sometimes we stroll over to the little diner-grocery while I have my foils in for a little lunch. Call early for an appointment...these ladies are hot commodities!

Marie is the best! I have been roaming around Atlanta bouncing from stylist to stylist never quite happy until a friend suggested Marie. I have found my forever stylist. She has created a relaxed, fun environment for her clients. Make sure to make an appointment, I don't think she takes drop-ins.

Marie and Jordyn did my hair and make-up for my wedding. I usually don't let other people do either because I am very particular about those types of things. The last thing I want to look like is a made-up barbie doll, especially on my wedding.
I met with them a few weeks before my wedding for a trail run and it was amazing. I felt so relaxed and at ease... just what I need after months of wedding planning. And they made me look exactly like I wanted to. When I left I felt so confident that I would look perfect for my wedding and I did!
On my wedding day, every one comment how calm I was and I know a huge part of that was because I was in good hands with Marie and Jordyn. Plus how can you not be calm in their presence. They are amazing and they make you feel like you just walked in the salon in the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. Love it! -

Marie Marie salon is awesome and Marie herself is the best, best, best stylist / hair lady I have ever had! She really listens to what you want and fills in the gaps when you don't know what you want. Marie seems to really enjoy what she does and shares that joy with her clients. Plus, she's a young lady who owns her own business, an inspiration to us all. I always thought I'd have to settle for random haircuts from adequate stylists, but now that I've found Marie, there's no going back. And she does amazing updos!

Marie is, hands down, the best stylist I have ever had. She understands hair and I don't have to "direct" my hair cuts. I give her an idea and she does all of the detail work I don't even know needs to be done!
The best (and, personally, most important) is her haircuts look better after a few weeks. My crazy schedule does not allow me to get my haircut every other month. She knows how to cut hair in a way that allows it to look fresh and full even if it has been 3-4 months. I constantly have people asking me if I just had my haircut.
I am not in the habit of dying my hair, but my sister goes to Marie and says her coloring skills are outstanding.
I live in Boston now and, unless I am desperate, refuse to let anyone else touch my hair and I hold out until I fly home (Marie never even complains about what a disaster my hair is). My first stop is always straight to MarieMarie.
Marie is a great person and a fantastic stylist. Thank you, Marie!
