We were here for two nights --- and upon first glance, the place was really nice, pretty clean (though old), and the icing on top of the cake was the ocean view. Right outside our balcony (we were only a few yards from the cliff) was the ocean, and everyday you can watch a beautiful sunset. It was really amazing.
The downside of staying here is that the insects seem to wake up and become active at night time, because you will notice a congregation of them around any lights you have on in the condo. We're not really sure what they were (but they looked like some type of flying beetle, and came in different sizes). There were other types of bugs, too. To top it off, my boyfriend got two big bug bites while sleeping at night --- and this is after I've thoroughly checked the bed for bugs.
Other than that, the place does have everything you need. In essence, the view is absolutely amazing if you don't mind bugs.
how can one complain when the view out your back door is the oceans of Kauai! just two steps to the cliffs and a bit of a walk down to the secret beach! It is a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and has a washer and dryer in th bathroom so that makes it convenient. And the constant lull of the ocean doesn't get much better! there is a great little trail for the morning run!

I'll start off with the good things. This place is fairly inexpensive and the rooms look quite nice. We had a full kitchen with a nice compliment of dishes, silverware, and cooking stuff. There was even ice in the freezer for us. The rooms were spacious and I had an awesome view from my room. The beds were reasonably comfortable, and even though there was no heater or air conditioner, the temperatures stayed between 70-80 the whole duration of our stay, so the ceiling fans were sufficient. There also was a full washer and drier, for which they provided a small amount of detergent. It was very useful for warming our towels, and washing the sand out of our beach ware.
Now for the not so good things. The main bad thing about this place was the noise. We could literally hear everything that was going on in the room above us. It sounded like they were in a different room in our place. We could literally hear there conversations without trying to. This is what would keep me from staying here again. The other downsides were the lack of Internet in the room. To get Internet, you had to go to the office where they would charge you $3.95 for 15 minutes. Total ripoff. Anyway, we stayed there for 5 nights and no one ever came by to pick up the garbage from our room, so by the time we left we had two full bags in our kitchen.
All in all, I would stay here again if I had to, but there is probably something better. When we had no neighbor, this place was great, but the noise was too too much.
