I may have to take a trip to Staten Island one day as, unfortunately, this is the closest Marble Slab location to me in Brooklyn. I thought that Cold Stone might be a suitable alternative until I went back to Florida and had Marble Slab again... Cold Stone just doesn't compare! If you're lucky enough to live in a location that offers both, feel free to try for yourself. But don't try too much because this ice cream's even more fattening than Haagen Dazs (and that's w/ out the mix ins).
This is really the only thing I miss about living in St. Augustine. Nothing beats standing in line at this bright, airy ice cream store, purchasing something truly delicious and enjoying it outside in the Florida balminess. -

Soooo good! Only thing that I don't like so much is that even the smallest size is too big. I found a solution thanks to the helpful young man working; the kid size! Totally the right amount, so if they will let you get that size.
I got: cinnamon ice cream with caramel, coconut, graham crackers and samoa cookie pieces. Try my creation or come up with your own. There are probably 20 ice cream flavors to choose from and everything from fruit and apple pie to gumballs and candy bars to mix in. -

Ok ice cream, better than Coldstone but not amazing. Pretty standard mix-ins. Located in strip-mall.

Delicious, creamy, smooth, sweet!. The kids cone is HUGE and usually more then enough for an adult.
