Review from Mike R.
San Diego, CA
I am much more familiar with beer than wine. I may not be able to describe the subtle complexities of a wine, but I know if it is good or not. Now of course there may be better. But In my experience the stuff here is pretty damn good and not that expensive ($20-30 a bottle).
The tasting included a wonderful selection and the staff were accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly.
There is another big reason to visit this place. The property is beautiful. There is a picturesque lavender field, with walking paths. This is a great place to take pictures and even relax with a loved one for a while.
I didn't hit all the wineries when I visited Sanoma, but I know this was among my favorites. -

How have I not reviewed Manzanita Creek Winery before now?! This is one of my absolute favorite wineries IN THE WORLD! I'm a long-time wine club member so obviously my review reflects that. We stopped in here several years ago, quite confused, because I had read about another winery with a similar name in the area and I was looking for the fields of lavender. Obviously that's not what you'll get in this industrial warehouse near Healsburg square, but it's not about the scenery here - it's all about the wines, and how delicious they are. If you're a fan of big, bold Zins, I cannot recommend this place enough. They also make a very decent Chardonnay and some Syrah and Petit Syrahs, but my heart belongs to the zin, especially the amazing Stealth.

Zin and Syrah, absolutely delicious. Didn't get a chance to try their PS, must go back for that.
Specialties
Manzanita Creek Winery is an actual "Bricks and Mortar" operation, where we make our own wines in our own winery with our own hands.
Most of our grapes come from Sonoma County, sourced from vineyards that are known within the wine community for growing grapes of intense aromas and flavors.
Our winemaking may be looked at by some as unorthodox with a style that strays from textbook methodology and factory production formulas.
Our facility, while not fancy, is all about winemaking, coupled with a "thinking outside the box" philosophy.
We have always strived to be the best at what we do, at any expense.
