Manuel's Restaurant has become my parents' favorite in recent years. For this reason, I contracted Manuel, himself, to cater their 40th anniversary party. He made exactly the right amount of food and had opinions about what is best for a crowd of 55 people! The man is a serious professional with a personable demeanor.
And the food! My favorites include, but are not limited to: enchiladas, flautas, and fajitas. Plus, the salsa must be made from some sort of magical tomato that he imports from the land of unicorns because I've never tasted anything like it. Fabulous!
And for the drinkers among you, he offers frozen or shaken margaritas, as well as a fairly good selection of beers.
Festive atmosphere. Good parking situation. The place fills up with retirees fairly early in the evening, so be prepared to wait (it's worth it) if you arrive around 5pm.
