I just started the treatment for braces.
So far, it has been great. Weekends usually seem to be busy, so I can't make appointment on exact time I want. However, once I make appointment, I never have to wait for a long time. They are on time. I don't wast my time.
Doctor is very gentle. Other staffs are also very nice. The office is very clean.
I compared with other Orthodontics in Queens and Brooklyn, but in my case, this place is less expensive than others. They have no-interest loan payment plan.
I like it here. It's confortable.
They told me everything including retainers is included in the payment. I'm hoping they won't charge extra in the future. -

Dr. Zhu is a great orthodontist and she did an amazing job on my crooked teeth. I was told that I would be in braces for 2 years, however she finished my case in just 20 months. When I first decided to get braces, I was really nervous because of my age (30 when I started), but immediately, Dr. Zhu and her staff made me feel really at ease. Now that I'm finished, I can honestly say that I had a great experience. I will miss coming in for my appointments because everyone was always happy and caring.
I'm sad to see that a few people on yelp are saying some negative things - there are always two sides to every story.
Dr. Zhu, please do me a favor and don't change a thing. I think MBO is great the way it is. Keep up the good work, thank you all! -

The office is very nice, clean, games for kids, new equipment, etc. However, they are here to make money any way possible. Your dental plan will always include any and all options that will put you in the poor house. There is no consideration for your budget. It is a BUSINESS first and foremost...

Today I received a side message from this company asking my to remove my review. Are you joking????! Yelp is here to give open, honest and unsolicited reviews based on our own experiences.
BTW- I DID take my son for other opinions and was very pleased to find other businesses with OUR interests put first. The plans were logical, effective, and carried out with a high level of professionalism with all options spelled out and at reasonable rates. Forget about it only being braces. There are loads of other services and treatments you will 'need.' - Absolute rubbish!!! GET A SECOND OPINION - GET 3!!!

I read the reviews and was blown away to be utterly disappointed...
I had a simple procedure to be accomplished *That any orhto can do* that would unfortunately be a one time visit. I explained the situation and the follow up question they asked was if I would need braces again? As soon as I stated no they made up random excuses and essentially could not help me.
It's sad that people are still motivated on "what can you do for me" instead of "what can I do for you" . I came here last year after Thanksgiving when a dog decided my upper retainer would make a good chew-toy. I looked on Yelp and found Manhattan Bridge Orthodontics, and I'm happy to report that after more than 1 year, I've been very satisfied with my new upper retainer.
Dr. Zhu runs a very professional and efficient operation and the office staff are all friendly people. I was able to get an appointment almost next-day, and was happy that when I got in at my scheduled time, was taken in immediately (rather than the usual "Oh the doctor is running behind"). After she checked my teeth and old mangled retainer, Dr. Zhu personally made the impressions needed for a new retainer, asked if I had any final questions and sent me on my way.
I returned hours later to pick up my brand new retainer and it still feels and looks new after a whole year. If I ever needed braces, I probably would check out Manhattan Bridge Orthodontics first. My only gripe might be that price quotes don't seem to be given out over the phone.. you've gotta go in. But when I was calling around, this seemed to be the case at every practice (if you want to know how much I paid for my upper retainer replacement, PM me). Still, MBO -- Recommended! -

I visited MBO today since I needed to get my bottom braces removed and a replacement retainer for my upper teeth. Now I WISH I had done more research when seeking an orthodontist because I would have gotten the treatment done here and not at Metropolitan Dental Associate (read review they absolutely SUCK).
Dr. Zhu is gentle, informative and such a pleasure to deal with. The staff is all really wonderful! I walked in five minutes early for my appointment and only waited about eight minutes until I was called in to see the doc.
The place is super clean and they have TV's while you are being worked on - how fab, I watched TMZ while Dr. Zhu popped off my braces - so I was at total ease. I would highly recommend anyone go to MBO. they rock!
Oh and I got my retainers the same day and for a great price too. THANKS MBO! -

This place was close to my job so I went to get a consultation. I saw Dr. Zhu and she was very friendly and professional. She is definitely well educated and knowledgeable.
Although I decided not to go through with the procedure I'd recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get braces. Dr. Zhu I felt was looking out for my best interest and not to make money. Her staff was also courteous and Calvin (I believe that was his name) took the time to figure out payment options and explained the whole process thoroughly. -

This is hands down the best medical office I have ever dealt with. The prices are extremely reasonable, the office is clean and comfortable,they are uber efficient, everyone is extremely pleasant and really good at their jobs. Also, you never have long waits and they work with you if you need financing. Your teeth turn out really well too!

I took my 8-yr old daughter to Dr. Zhu for a "free" consultation (this is after another dentist charged us $85 for a 10-min consultation and xrays were not even included). She is very informative and professional. Her staff is wonderful. The office is very neat and well run. She and the staff definitely deserve 5 stars.

I was sold as soon as I met Dr. Zhu. She's very nice. What's great about the place is that everyone at the front desk seems to be really cheerful and positive at your arrival. Nice to see that employees there are genuinely happy. I have an overbite with some major crowding. Dr. Zhu recommended I wear braces for 18 months. For regular braces, it cost about $2100. So far so good. I've taken monthly shots of my teeth and they're already starting to look straighter after 4 months. You can go on their website and apply for a credit instantly. If you're approved, you can visit the office and get a monthly plan in place with no interest up to 2 years.

The office is very modern and kept meticulously clean. They even have a Wii in the waiting room, although they never make you wait long. Dr. Zhu is amazing. They make weekend appointments and are flexible when you have to reschedule. The staff is very friendly and all greet you by name. I definitely recommend Manhattan Bridge Orthodontics!

This place is great! I have been a patient for about 3 months as a I am getting lingual braces before my wedding. The lobby is clean and spacious and has a flat screen TV and 2 Wiis set up for the kids. In the exam room there is a TV for each chair, I sit and watch Twilight during my tightenings! Dr. Zhu is so accommodating and the the staff is first rate and provides really personal care. They always know my name when I arrive!

Professional & friendly setting. Searching for a Orthodontist that is able to make money and at the same time is conscious that others not necessary are is hard to find. I actually liked the vibe from the first appointment and had a feeling i would be going here in the long run for braces. I think i made a good choice. Staff is helpful as well. I don't have insurance but i would go here out of all the other places i went on consultations for. But overall, i like this places because it suits me money wise. So if you find yourself here and not really into it, it may be because its just not suitable to what you like.
