I have gone since my last review and I enjoyed my experience even better...the food I had was FANTASTIC (Shrimp Alexander) and the service was better than expected. I think the prices also went down some (at least a few dollars an entree) which is also a HUGE plus. I left stuffed and satisfied this time, compared to wanting more some last times I visited. The ambience of the place was the same...very charming building, old, family owned, immaculate, and always something to look up at on the walls. It is still a must visit place if dining in Toledo if you can...

Overpriced and underserviced by far.
I've been told this place was the place to go for steaks, but I've been going there for the past 12 years as an adult and have yet to be impressed. They're service is slow. The steaks have NO flavor, they are just steaks. And for the price, you should get a lot more food. If you want a good steak and more for your money. Goto Ahmeds, best steak in town and you get soup, salad, bread, and 2 side dishes with every entree.
One of the best steaks I've ever had. The place is almost too dark, but it enhances the ambience and the environment.
You don't have to actually order a steak at Mancy's to get some beef into your system. The air here is so steak-laden, you'll be picking up bovine protein every second you breathe. Mancy's is your classic old-school steak house, and one of the oldest restaurants in Toledo. Never a big favorite for me, but you could do a lot worse in Toledo.
I love this place. It's very old and dark and sets a very romantic mood. The service is always good as well as the food. The steaks are great! We also get the stuffed mushroom caps for an appetizer. yum!
