oh dear god.
i was in FL for 4 days and i ate here 2/4 days
the gelato here is SO delish! and they let you mix flavors for any size.

and the best part is they have amazing coffee, beer, other desserts, sandwiches, small entrees....it is PERFECT for a nice sit down and people watching at City Place.
the people that work here i think expect a tip no matter what...they kind of gave us the questioning glance when we signed the credit card slip.
Try the Pistachio gelato.

This place is more than just a gelateria, its food is amazing as well..Preferably for lunch.. .They just renovated the entire place and re opened with a new name "Mama Che Buono" .In the heart of City Place..LOVE their panini's.... Usually I opt for the tomato mozzarella panini...Its super fresh and so light that you must try their gelato afterwards..Its a great digestive :)
They have totally changed the atmosphere..Inside is a row of computers for surfing the web, its more bright and lively (which is visible to anyone who passes by)..the colors are vibrant which makes it enjoyable for lounging.
The Gelato flavors..any one that you have ever imagined exists in this store..Vanilla, to melon, coffee, and tiramisu , strawberry, chocolate, hazelnut , ..its all there...
Hey this is a nice little joint they just opened here at CityPlace.
The minute you walk in, you notice how much Italian they put into the place. Lots of White, with sharp angles and minimal touches. It borders the style of Italian chic from the 60's. They implemented some TV's on the wall and a row of iMacs free to use at your convenience. In fact the left side of the place looks like an Apple store :) The right? Lots of yummy treats!
They carry various kinds of treats ranging from little dessert bites to gelato to some full out square shaped DE-SSERT for the whole family. They carry more milk-based gelato but they have a nice selection of fruit-based gelato for those with lactose issues. Their prices aren't cheap (small gelato is 4 bucks) but they do reflect the area its in and they have a good staff to help you try out the different flavors.

I agree.. this place is so chic! its so clean too How do they keep all the white furniture so white?? I wish more cafes were like this! Staff is veryhelpful and friendly. Complimentary Internet on Macs, and unlike the library there's never really a wait... I try a different flavor on each visit. You cant go wrong!
This place is totally overpriced, and they can do that down here from the lack of choice but that said, the gelato is delicious! Gelato is an Italian version of ice cream, and it comes in a lot of different flavors. They also have really good specialty coffee drinks.
