If you are looking for a great place to stop for dinner as you travel to the Outer Banks, consider giving Mama's Pizza a try. It's hidden in a Piggly Wiggly shopping center, and it has been there for years, yet the food is consistently good every time I head home for a weekend. Their version of stomboli and Italian hoagies have ruined these dishes for me everywhere else on the planet. Mama's Pizza just tastes like home for me, and a trip back to my hometown is just not complete without a visit.
