Yeah, this was the worst Mexican food I've had in Colorado.

Charging for chips and salsa? $3.50? Lame.

The food was overpriced and so bland. The rice and beans were funky tasting. I thought that the decor was kinda cute, but when the food is expensive and tasteless, decor doesn't go too far. I was really, really disappointed.

What type of Mexican restaurant charges for chips and salsa!?!? this one does...
Mamacitas is bad.  not the good kind of bad mexican restaurant- the plain old bad kind.
Service is TERRIBLE.  e sat at our table for 20 minutes and were completely ignored.  There was a dirty rag full of guacamole left on our table.  We had to get up, get menus, and corner the waitress at the kitchen to get service.
Food is WAY overpriced, and totally mediocre.

Guacamole was flavorless and tasted more like play-dough than anything.  Salsa was also without flavor, and watered down.

My tacos were boring and cold when they arrived.

Save your time and money.

Man oh man. I'm going to have to throw down here and disagree with my friend Sandra W.

Here is the thing: Mamacitas is in a prime location...close to campus, buses, and bars. Nonetheless, you sit in these weird sort of wooden chairs that look like Mayan pyramids that are unbearably painful after awhile. The food is way over-priced for what you get. In all honesty, I've had better Mexican food at Taco Bell. 10 dollars for an enchilada that is the size of a bookmark? Shit son, it better be good....*bite*......*slow chewing*...*wondering if it would be rude to spit it out into napkin*...*decides that that would be rude*....*swallows reluctantly*

Hm....yeah. Really not into this place

I must say, this place is fab and not just because I work here!  

There is nothing quite like the specific kitsch hangin' from the ceiling; the plethora of paintings that decorate the walls; the great service : )  

And the food?  Delicious!  And...conspicuously not greasy for a Mexican restaurant.

Watch out for the Margs--they will knock ya down pretty fast : )
