So what comes naturally after 12 + hours at a convention? LIQUOR!
I recently attended the 1st Annual Zumba Instructor Convention in Orlando. I was excited to go for a plethora of reasons...one of them being to see the infamous Peabody which I've put my coworkers up in near the Orlando Convention Center. I knew it was going to be a VERY classy joint.
After attending an entire Saturday worth of workshops I snuck out of that evening's "Zumbathon" a little early and headed upstairs to relax. I found myself sitting next to the duck pond, which was near a waterfall, which was near a lady playing some therapeutic tunes on the old ivories which was naturally, near a bar. I had no intent to drink...especially because I could have easily put my head down on the table and fell asleep right then and there. A waitress came over and asked what I wanted to order. Instead of saying "no" I hesitated. I asked her if their mojitos were made fresh or from a mix. When she gave the preferred answer (fresh) I ordered one. To make a long story short...1 led to 3+ and over the course of my drinking many friends and colleagues showed up, tasted my drink and got their own. Very refreshing and large...not the cups full of ice with 3 sips worth of liquid in them! SO GOOD!!!
These were seriously THE BEST mojitos I've ever had! So good, in fact, one of my instructor friends went to the bar to order one and came back with a beer. I asked what happened. He said the wait was so long for mojitos that he couldn't wait. LOL I guess I started a trend!
Note: If you're hungry...their hummus with pita is amazing and a great value for the money.
