Stayed here for about a week and got it on http://Priceline.com... so I got a really good deal. I would say this is one of the better hotels in Hayward. Even though it's off of A Street, there was no problem with the area or crime.
The staff was average, bed was ok and so was the sofa. The kitchen had everything that you needed for an extended stay.
We choose this hotel for 2 reasons, it has been recommended to us by friends and it was kinda close to the vicinity we wanted to be in for the weekend. We got to the hotel Friday night around 10pm, my friend had booked the room on her card, but wanted to pay cash for the room, she was then told for cash there would be a $50 deposit, not a big deal but they never told her this when she booked the room. We got ino our room, and it was pretty good size for the price we paid, BUT the bed was supose to be a queen and looked more like a double, there was a little mold in the shower...and the door on the closet was off the hinges, it was nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in our room, and the place seemed clean, but the service was not the best. I know for a fact we will never stay in this palce again. Not to mention I guess most people stay here for weeks at a time, so they do not service the rooms daily???? and we had to actually go down to the front desk to get our towels we requested????
