Review from Jenny M.
Milpitas, CA
I've been to this place twice and will come back if I am ever in the sacramento area. They carry well known brands that you can't get at a Michael's or Joann's.
They carry a wide range of different paper companies such as Webster Pages, Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, Graphic 45, Hero Arts, Ranger, Penny Black, Creative Imaginations, japanese paper, and many others. They have a bigger selection of Cat's Pajama's stamps and Cut Up dies compared to other specialty scrapbook stores.
If you are an avid scrapper, then it would be really easy for you to find the products that you are looking for. The staff was friendly and attentive. The owner even asked me if I wanted to make a free greeting card, but I didn't have time for it. Instead she let me take the card to make at home.
A very good spot to just admire paper and spend lots of money!!! -

This is a cozy little stamping & scrapbook store. The owner is from Maine, thus the name. She's been here almost two years. I stop in everytime I am in the area on the way to Sacramento or beyond. Not too far off Hwy 80. Lots of rubber stamps displayed nicely by category along the wall. She carries a good assortment of punches, stencils, paper, ribbon, embellishments. They have a table (two seats) where you can do the make-n-take of the week for free. Today it was a card. A tiny corner of the shop is set up for children to play while Mom shops. ( TV/ VCR & books/ toys)
For the small size, it is set up very well. Decorated with a country, outdoorsy feel. I give it four stars for the amount of product this little shop carries, & also for the owner who is very helpful and sincerely nice...which is always a wonderful treat in the retail world. -

I love making my own cards and have been doing so for a couple of years. I found this place on a website for paper crafters. My only place to shop for stamps wood mounted or clear) is Michael's and while my Michael's does have a pretty good variety of stamps they lack big time in customer service.
I dragged my little family out here yesterday and now I kinda wish I had gone by myself. I could have spent a lot more time in there. Kind of hard to shop with a very energetic 3 year old and a newborn in a car seat.
LOTS of wood mounted stamps and scrapbook paper and embellishments, as well as some tools.
Amazing customer service. The ladies who work there were so gracious and kind to my son, giving him a bread stick (because unbeknown est to me he was starring at the poor woman with her lunch) and upon checking out, my son asked for a stamp on his hand (he chose a lobster).
One woman even offered me a free kit to take home to make their card of the day.
I REALLY wish there was a store like this closer to me. it's about a 40 minute drive for me. I will be back. It will probably have to be a once every few months stop for me. But I will definitely be coming here to get some inspiration and supplies for this years Christmas card. I'm sure the ladies who work there would be more then happy to give some friendly advice.
