Great breakfast place!!!  Loved the laid back, small town atmosphere, such a fun place for breakfast.

Had the cinnamon roll and a few bites of my husband's bagel sandwich which was PERFECT----probably better (and less greasy) than Moe's in Denver!

But, and here's why they get 3 and not 4 or 5 stars . . . you had to stand in line with the rest of the hoi polloi while the leetell Franche gurls beehind zee countair made zee text massages tu thair bouyfrends eensted ov wating en yu.

The two times I went to Main Street Bakery were for breakfast and lunch.  I figured that it was always busy, so that was a pretty good sign.  For both times I waited over an hour after I ordered before we got our food.  A whole HOUR!  I tend to go out to eat when I'm hungry, so this was just unacceptable.  Wait staff tended to have very poor command of English, or native English speaking wait staff made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by asking for more coffee.

I hate to rail on a bakery because I looove baked goods, but even ordering at the counter usually had a wait time and was difficult because of the cashiere's tendancy not to understand what baked good I ordered.  Sometimes to my financial gain!  Still, wasn't enough to make me want to ever return.  Try Popycocks for breakfast.

Best place for breakfast in Aspen. They also have an awesome selection of pastries. The cupcakes are great! It's not too pricey, but it's not Denny's either.

Cute little bakery/cafe with great sandwiches. Try their turkey club on six-grain bread--it's amazing!

Such a cozy, casual place. Awesome omelette's and oatmeal. Great breakfast. They also have these delicious peach or raspberry granola squares! Atmosphere is relaxed, laid back, country. Although it is small, there is indoor and outdoor seating available. Good solo place or for a group of eight.
