Nipomo, CA
In the mood for Thai on my visit to Augusta. Relied on Yelp to lead me to Mai Thai. The Tom Kha Gai soup hit the spot. The entree (I forget the name) was very good, too. And don't forget the Thai Iced tea! Wow! Clean environment and very friendly service. I'll go back on my next visit to town.

Below average Thai food with good customer service. I rated them 1 star for customer service since the food was below average.

Pretty decent Thai food. Try their Tom Yum Gai for some great soup.
Pros
*Food
*Singha Thai Beer
*Always somewhere to sit
*10% Military Discount
Cons
*Wait can be a bit long (call at least 20 minutes prior for carry out)
*A little pricey considering the standard quality of food
*The fish (especially the flounder) can get a bit stinky
*No fish or shrimp balls?! -
Review from Galen M.
Pensacola, FL
We went here after our first stop of the night did not quite pan out. The service was good, our waiter was very polite, and he seated us right away. The food was great though it did take a bit to get to us since they actually cook it instead of having everything from the freezer or microwave. We got the dumplings to start and they were very tasty. Then we ordered the Seafood Satay (very spicy and good) and the (7 Thai-worded) chicken & cashew dish, also very good. Our only suggestion is to be careful of the spice factor if you are not used to thai food or other spicy foods. For all of you non-Thai food eaters out there three chili peppers on the menu means it is spicy-hot. For dessert we had the fried cheesecake with cherries & blueberries. Again very good, it reminded us of a creamy funnel cake. For us the selection was perfect and we will be going back!

Nice little family owned restaurant that offers authentic Thai food. Excellent coconut chicken soup, satay, pad thai, spring rolls, rice pudding, Thai iced tea, and the list goes on...

Horrible service. Amazing food. Watch out for obvivious wait staff, if you can get past them, you'll have a great time. Whatever you do, order what's on the menu, God knows they can't make an alteration to save their lives. Only worth it with the 5pm-6pm early bird 15% discount. -
Review from Will P.
This was a terrific find in an area you wouldn't think of as a bastion of Thai cuisine. An oasis, if you will.
The service was friendly, the atmosphere cozy, and the food was great - on par with big-city restaurants. Absolutely order the Naam Sod as an appetizer - it's ground pork and has the perfect blend of spiciness and flavor. Seems like a good taste of a non-Americanized Thai dish.
Dave B.'s review is spot on the money! If you're in the area and craving Thai, make sure to check this place out. -

I love this place and eat there often! -

Augusta, GA
Pad Thai was overpriced based on the taste, size was perfect. Spring Rolls were way overpriced & sauce resembled BBQ flavoring, needed more peanut/soy flavoring. We will continue our search for a great take-out Thai food restaurant.

Augusta, GA
The best Thai restaurant left in the area. Warm and cozy atmosphere, great selection of dishes. For us herbivores, they'll substitute tofu for the meat or seafood, and the plates are so big, you'll definitely have to get a to-go box (spicy Thai food actually seems to get a little warmer the next day)!
