I have fond memories of this place.

I spent 5 years in St Louis. Three of which I was prisoner in the relationship from hell. I wasn't allowed out of the house. I had no friends. It was really pathetic. What can I say? I was young and stupid.

Once I was unceremoniously dumped, I knew no one. I hadn't been out to a club or bar in over 3 years. This was one of the first places I went.

The patrons couldn't have been nicer. I met so many great people. I even met a couple of guys at the pool table and we made a regular Wednesday night date for pool (even though I suck, they took pity on me).

They had a great jukebox. I used to rock out to Heart and Meatloaf. Ahh youth.

I would go back...if it wasn't 2000 miles away.

Everyone knows that Magnolia's is a hot nightspot for people who love to dance, sing karaoke, or both. The drinks here are a little more expensive than some other places in the city, but people really do come here to dance more than anything else. Which I think is a shame. Magnolia's has some seriously good food, too. If you head here for dinner I have to recommend the porterhouse, which is delicious. I also enjoy their chicken wings (but I have never met a wing I didn't like). Magnolia's is definitely a great place to cut loose and shake your rump, but it's a great place to eat and more people should check out the other side of Magnolia's.
