trendy and hip vibe w/ nice outdoor seating (altho it faces dirty ass sunset : / ). it has that LA/hollywood vibe that's great for out of town visitors. the food is not bad, slightly above average....

but wut i *really* came to say is that their cocktails are offf tha muthaffreakkkin hizzzzy!!! i had some muddled strawberry drink over the summer. i fantasize about it almost every time i go out for drinks. i'm fantasizing about it now....yummm.....

after a few of these u won't even realize ur sitting on a dirty sidewalk inhaling exhaust!

It's always fun to dine at the "well known" restaurants.  I went here with my sisters and we enjoyed ourselves but I think we could enjoy ourselves pretty much anywhere, regardless, my experience at Magnolia was...3 stars (a-ok).

The drink special was extremely good.  It had pims in it with ginger ale & cucumber slices.  It was REALLY good.

The magnolia salad was good and the fried calamari was perfect, crunch and not greasy.  I ordered the salmon with asparagus and jasmine rice, this was good as well.  Even the mint chocolate chip/chocolate cookie sandwich thingy was good.

I guess if the prices were about 30% less I'd be raving about this place but since they weren't I can't help but think about all the things I could've done with the $50 I spent.

I have to thank my lovely Ellen for bringing me here for a delicious birthday dinner!! Everything was perfect, which is so rare for a meal :)

Started:
Heirloom tomato salad with buffalo mozzarella and basil oil - no brainer! So good!

Entrees:
We shared the bolognese pasta and skirt steak with mashed potatoes, since we were craving comfort food after a long, hungover weekend. The pasta was super rich, cheesy, saucy... could not have been better. It was the perfect serving size as well - more would have hurt to eat, less would have been sad! The steak was amazing - tender enough, but I like to chew on my steak just a little, so it was great. Pre-sliced, perfect for sharing, we got a good 4 big slices each or so. Nice and medium rare, with delicious sauce and grilled scallions. The mashed potatoes were flavorful on their own, but with a little of the gravy sauce, they were to die for.

Dessert:
Mint chip ice cream sandwich - basic and very reminiscent of Diddy Riese, if you're a Bruin like myself - but since when is that a bad thing? It was effin' delicious.

Bonus points:
The server was insanely nice, and funny, but not overbearing or too chatty. And he refilled our diet Cokes literally every 3 minutes without fail; he may have single handedly cured our hangovers - well that and the amazing food!

Oh, and we also saw Samantha Ronson arrive - we crossed our fingers that Lindsay Lohan would show up and create a ruckus, but sadly that didn't happen :(

The martinis here are amazing!!  The food is yummy, and I really liked the atmosphere!

On any of my visits the staff has always been really friendly!  I've definitely made this my "date" spot!  I also love the fact that they serve food quite late!

One of those utra trendy bar/restaurants. Decent food. Drinks are yummilicious, just that you have to freakin' rob a bank in order to drink all night there. Plan on spending at least $10 a cocktail here. If you got the deep pockets, go for it.

Trendy-high end place. Don't let the chandeliers fool you-awesome food. I usually stick to the organic chicken sandwich which is delicious. Other dishes look good as too. Desserts are also delicious. Good portions and good choices. Good for groups or couples.  Definately recommend...

Magnolia has really good salads and appetizers. Ingredients are fresh and the portions are good. I especially love the "Magnolia Salad" - endive, blue cheese, radicchio, walnuts. What keeps me from eating here more often is they're over priced. I mean, $15 bucks for a salad at lunch is a bit much, especially given the location.

Just returned from Magnolia.Ive driven by this place many times and never tried it until tonight. I was very impressed with most of the experience. The food was excellent. We ordered the calamari which was pretty tasty and the Magnolia salad. I decided on the Salmon for my entree and was delighted that it included two sides. Overall everything was great except the service..the staff didnt look like they wanted to be there. I really liked the decor. Overall it was a great experience...85/100

I've eaten here twice and really loved it both times.  The first time I had a martini that had little cubes of ginger in it--wish I could remember what it was called because I don't think it is on the menu any longer--that started a hardcore love affair with fresh ginger in my cocktails!  The last time I ate here, for my birthday, I had the spinach dip, which was different from any I have ever had before--had much more spinach than other spinach dips and it was tasty.  Ordered the beef short ribs for my main course and it was hands down the best short rib I have ever eaten (thus far!).  I didn't want it to end!!  For dessert, I had the creme brulee, which was delicious.  Only thing that is a little weird--I keep reading about this patio and I have never been offered a seat on it!  I wish I had been, but I'm sure I will be back eventually.

Went here for a friends bdai...we made reservations so were seated right away...it looks A LOT nicer on the inside...we were dressed to go clubbin n did not feel out of place...service was good...

we got ...
BLT w/avocado: good but nothing spectacular...whatever dressing the salad comes with is good
Grilled Organic Chicken Sandwich w/fries: their fries are DELICIOUS! chicken was a bit dry but overall a solid burger
Classic Pimm Cup...this is a drink for the ladies...u don't taste the alcohol...nothing spectacular but not bad...taste like watered down sprite...

if you bring a cake it's a $3 fee per person
valet is $7 but you can find street parking

Overall nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about

3 1/2 . I loved the tuna tartare here ( I am a tuna tartare freak). The fried calamari was also delicious. The sandwiches were okay. I think the setup and decor is really nice and felt the service was attentive.
It was a bit pricey for that it is but it's what you pay for in hollywood.

OK, OK, so, considering that this is the very first place in which I met my sweetheart nearly two years ago, this restaurant could probably serve me a Lean Cuisine and I would praise it to the high heavens.  Try to trust me, then, when I tell you that they really do serve outstanding food here.  I promise!

Since that first meeting, The George and I have been back to Magnolia a number of times.  Our favorite thing here is most likely the hamburger.  I don't know what it is...it's just really simple and really good.  Their French fries are also addictively perfect.  On our most recent trip I had the skirt steak which was every carnivore's fantasy of flawlessly grilled meat.  The only thing I would label as "meh" is their mac and cheese (besides, if you happen to be in that area and are craving mac and cheese then you march your tookus up a block and a half to Citizen Smith).

Our second favorite thing, then, has to be the martini.  Clean, crisp, and super strong!  But they also have a pretty good specialty cocktail menu and loads of other wines and beers to strike your fancy.

And, somehow, the service here always manages to remain impeccable.  In general, if you patronize a place enough times you're bound to occasionally experience the disgruntled, overworked, and/or recent turnip-truck-fallen employee.  I've never experienced any of these while dining at Magnolia.  They just take care of you, without unnecessary ceremony or 'tude.

They really are a perfect place to grab drinks and/or dinner before going to a show in the area...or perhaps for a rendezvous with a some tall, dark, and handsome Yelper.

Went here for the first time Thursday (yesterday) night.  At first I thought... dang, these martinis glasses are small.  But seriously, this is where size really doesn't matter.  One or two of the GINGER PEACH martinis, which are absolutely DELISH and poured right at your table, will do the job well done.

Sweet Potato Fries = Yummy finger food snack
Calamari = Good
Steak Salad = Good, Nice chewy steak
Mint Chocolate Chip Sandwich = Something you can buy at the grocery store... Wish we ordered the Creme Brulee which sounded better.

The inside is very nice and has that comfy feel.  Not too loud and lights are dim.  Good choice in 80s music playing in the background.  Servers were nice and prompt.  Definitely go here for the DRINKS!!!  You may even spot a few celebs here as well.  The only downfall is parking.  Valet is $7 or I'd suggest going at 7pm on a weeknight where you can find free street parking right on Sunset.

Came here for lunch. Great Hollywood location... Valet parking only unless you get lucky with street parking. Clean, quaint, outside patio dining area, service is great though price is a bit steep.  baked mac'n cheese is YUMMMMMM!.. not too bland not too cheesy. I got the Salmon but found it to be a bit dry for my taste. My co-workers got the Ahi Burger which they loved. I'll probably have to come back here once again to give a firm rating.

Apparently it's a great night life spot... will possibly try that too.

Restaurant: annoyingly crowded on weekend nights for my taste.

Food: mediocre; nothing too special.

Key Lime Pie Martini: BEST EVER!!!!!!

No kidding, this is hands down the best key lime pie martini I've ever had (and I've had quite a few)...it tasted JUST like the real thing!! AND it had the best graham-cracker rimmer I've ever had...it was YUM in a glass. I highly recommend that if you go here, skip the food and just get one of these...you won't regret it!

I had a terrible time here.  The design of this restaurant is horrible.  Tables right smack dab next to each other.  No personal space allowed.  The hostess barely paid any attention to us and tried to seat us at a small table (2 of us) next to the pathway of the waiters.  Our waiter was awful; he got my order wrong about 4 times.  Seriously.  The busboy was a better waiter.   The food is bland and nothing special.  This is like a Denny's, made up to look Hollywoodish.  And you pay for it too.  No way will I recommend this place or go back.

A pre-concert dinner with a girlfriend on a spur of the moment Friday night brought us to Magnolia. We didn't have a reservation but our wait time was less than 20 minutes and the bar area up front provides a cozy and friendly place to do the waiting. I ordered a refreshing specialty mojito and my friend enjoyed a glass of white wine.

After our brief wait, we were escorted through the inner rooms and low couches to the back patio where the heaters kept us cozy and the volume wasn't nearly as loud as people claim it gets inside. My gal pal and I enjoyed more wine with dinner and found plenty we liked with the small wine list. She loved her sandwich and I cleared my plate of my tasty skirt steak with grilled scallions and mashed potatoes. We opted out of the desert choices but our neighboring diners seemed to really enjoy their pear and blueberry crisp and mint chip ice cream sandwich.

This place is a great choice for a date or a nicer dinner with friends but unfortunately a little too pricey to become a regular in my pre-Palladium/Fonda/Pantages dining rotation. If only I didn't find myself at all those 3 places so often....

Magnolia is the kind of place I would normally fall in love with and if you could put a ring on a restaurant, I would. The decor is just that awesome.

However, much like any relationship, there are pitfalls. Yes, it's pretty. But listen...do you hear that? No, you can't hear me because it's almost unbearably loud inside. For a dimly lit restaurant, I expected a little bit more sedate crowd. I could hear the women from across the room clear as a bell.

We were seated right behind the bar. I spent many minutes thinking about how to best go about securing the unopened Hangar One Mandarin bottle. Cocktails did look really good though (average price was $10-$14) but after having $4 happy hour drinks across the street, we decided to stick with our water and soft drinks.

The baked mac and cheese at our neighboring table looked really good. The tables are so close together, we could have practically nabbed a bite or two just by reaching over. But we didn't and ordered our own dish. Hm, it looked better than it tasted. I never salt my food but I had to add salt and pepper to the noodles to bring out the natural saltiness of the cheese!

After looking over the menu, I decided I am never going to spend more than $8 on a salad and their $10-$14 salads seemed outrageously overpriced. Sandwiches were $9-$14. The gay boyfriend got the $10 ham and swiss. He really liked it and the accompanying onion rings.

No, if I'm going to plunk down some dough, I'm going to order the $24 braised short ribs. Beautiful presentation with the microgreens but again, it was lacking in flavor. I had to toss on some salt from the tiny shaker. I really shouldn't have to add salt to this. And then the short ribs were dried out. I did like the sweet potato mash (I exchanged this from the mashed potatoes it normally came with) though.

Did I mention the unbearable wait where I contemplated alcohol poisoning while waiting for the entrees? What took them that long to get out our meals? First, they brought out the wrong appetizer and told us the mac and cheese would be right out. No, it came about 15 minutes later. Then we waited about 30 minutes for our actual meals. We had 7 p.m. reservations and didn't leave until almost 9 p.m.

Valet is available for Magnolia and the neighboring Fabiolus and Bowery restaurants but I didn't have a problem parking on the street as it was Sunday evening.

I might come back but I would have a hard time deciding what to order.

I got food poisoning from the scallops here once and then called to warn them and they denied it.
Also the rest of their food is really mediocre but I like having a glass of wine here sometimes and plotting my escape to the Bowery for a burger next door.
For some reason, I wasn't even that offended by the food poisoning incident. In the words of Fabio, though, this is NOT top scallop.

I love Magnolia for lunch. even when I have to pay all by myself. It's not as crazy as dinner times can (apparently be). The food is good (love the Organic Chicken sandwich) and the service is attentive without being overbearing.

I can't really judge the bar, though. Which actually makes me happy, as watching people booze it up during lunch time is not my idea of a good time.

Magnolia is decent but there's not much I would rave about food wise.

The decor  and service is nice but the food is just mediocre to me. If I had to go back I would just have drinks since they have a nice little lounge area.

I've been there twice and below is what I had:

Baked mac and cheese

Iceberg wedge salad (way too much dressing)

Grilled steak salad

Grilled organic chicken salad

Sesame seared tofu (really salty)

Great vibe, great service, great ambiance.  A good spot to grab a bite when at  Arclight or Fonda or Palladium.  Back patio is much quieter and tables are spaced out a bit more, better for cozy conversation.  But the crowd inside is generally pretty low-key and fun, not the hollywood hipster poser types.

The food is delish and VERY reasonably priced.  Casual menu selections, nothing terribly elaborate but they're delicious and presented beautifully.  Steak Salad, Cobb Salad,  Organic Chicken sandwich, Grilled artichoke ... all yum.

Great service.  Magnolia is one of those spots I can count on  when in that part of town.  I've read some of the not-so-good reviews and can't say that I've ever experienced any of those issues.  Always a good positive vibe and a delish casual meal.

Want a no brainer for casual, yummy eats in a cozy chic environment? This is the place to go in Hollywood.

Mom was in town for New Years and was walking around Pasadena all day, called and wanted to meet me for dinner with her friend but was worried cause they were dressed really casually. No worries. I needed to find a restaurant close by home that was casual but also offered some good, well rounded American selections that everyone would be happy eating. After all mom's friend was a semi picky eater who loves American food. I knew that Magnolia would be a perfect choice and fit the bill as a chic, cool place to eat so we met them there at 6:30 tonight.

I know it sounds really early, as in old people early, but I got to tell you, the place was hopping at 6:30. Maybe it's the New Years holiday and everyone's off work early but man oh man it was busy in there.  Luckily we got a nice corner table in the back and started with drinks and appetizers.  One mac n cheese, a Tuna tar tar and 2 martinis later (one chocolate and the other dirty), we were ready to order our main courses. One note, you can't go wrong on either appetizer, both were great!

For dinner we had a variety of dishes: Mahi mahi for me with rice accompanied by a lobster sauce; seared scallops for Linden; steak for mom's friend and a steak sammy with salad for mom. Everyone seemed happy and satisfied. My dish was a bit salty though and starchy and I wound up leaving more than half of it on the plate. I tried some of Linden's scallops and knew he ordered better than me - damn! He always does that. For dessert it was a chocolate brownie topped with ice cream. Wow, it smelled and tasted amazing...that's all I'm saying.

This place is nice for a date night as the bar is sexy and they have a nice waiting area for a drink but also good for large groups as well. Bummer that valet parking is $7.00 though.

I dream about the ahi tar tar!!! Every time I come here the food is always awesome.
FOOD:  I really enjoy the lobster raviolis, the salmon is nice and simple, skirt steak was nice and tender, they roasted chicken breast was bursting with flavor. As for the desserts, we had the mint and chip cookie. The cookie was hard as a rock, but once it softened up it was delicious!

DRINKS: Beer selection is awesome!! The pom. mojito is one of the best cocktails I have ever had. I also had the perfect margarita, now THAT was different!! it was not a traditional margarita. It was really citrusy and tasted like orange juice.

SERVICE: I don't like waiters hovering over me. They are nice and to the point, but know when to start a conversation. My only complaint is that the food comes literally 10 minutes after our appetizer came out.

Other than that I love the place!!!

I have only eaten at Magnolia once but was impressed with both the service and the food.  I had the roasted vegetables with sesame encrusted tofu.  It was amazing!  Possible the best roasted veg platter I have ever had (and as a 20 vegetarian, I have had a few).  It was so good in fact that my two carnivorous friends finished it for me and voted it the best dish we had ordered.

very disappointed....

We had a group of six and they stuck us right at the front when the back was really beautiful.

Food we ordered.

mac n cheese-ok
tuna tartar-- decent
calamari-ok

marinated skirt steak-pretty decent
ahi tuna steak-EXCELLENT
chicken dish-ok
salmon- i can make it at home

had a problem with the wine. my merlot had some gritty residue that i didn't noticed until my last sip and it was DISGUSTING! Told the waiter and offered me a new glass. Saw the bill and they charged me twice! I told the waiter and he said the manager said it's because I finished the glass! Well think about it!!! The freaking nasty grit is denser than the wine so it sank to the bottom...and not until I had my last sip did i notice it and it ruined the whole taste!!!  I wouldn't have accepted his second glass if I were to pay for the nasty first one which he said was just on the wine bottle!!! NOT MY PROBLEM!  Actually I'm giving this place 2 stars now!

This is my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles for many reasons.  First of all, it is home to the single best salad that can be found in the universe.  Yes you heard me, BEST SALAD EVER!  It's called the Magnolia Salad and consists of raddichio, frisee, endive, gorgonzola, apples, candied walknuts, and white balsamic.  Trust me on this one.  I live in New York and let me tell you...I MISS this salad.

Also, the atmosphere is phenomenal for so many occasions--it's trendy yet you can be casual if you like, so romantic yet also lively with a party vibe, and outside seating plus the cutest little backyard every (where you can smoke, yay!).  In the couple of years I've been eating here I have tried most things on the menu and I can say there are many standouts:  the salmon is simple yet sooo satisfying and tasy, the chicken and beef satays are perfectly cooked and so flavorful, the spinach artichoke dip is one of the best I've ever had (order a side of creme fraiche with it!), the cheese plate is great but small and the mahi mahi is off the wall.  However, I must say: Magnolia recently got a new chef and he took some great things off the menu.  Namely, the amazing ravioli and all of their good desserts.  All their current desserts are mediocre (even the mint chip ice cream sandwich and especially the banana creme brulee).  But Magnolia is a truly DELICIOUS restaurant, where the price is right and you almost never need a reservation.  It truly is as good as it gets! NOTE:  Kitchen opens late!  1 or 2 am I think which is late for LA : )

A good dinner place before going to the Palladium or if meeting friends in Hollywood.

An attractive crowd, somewhat dressy and with expensive but good food.  I love the decor, drinks are what you would expect and the food is a traditional American offering.  Nothing really stood out, but I do remember never feeling quite comfortable.  Something about the "Hollywood" element maybe.  Bah!

I came here for pre dinner drinks last night with a new friend of mine and I always thought this was part of Fabilous Cafe when i drove by
At any rate the interior is very minimalistic and modern and very fierce bar!
We didnt have any food here so I can't comment on that yet but the drinks were quickly served and very well prepared!
I had the blueberry lemon drop martini.. WONDERFUL
The only issue is the martini glasses are a bit on the small size for the price but you are also paying for it at a very nice restaurant so
anyhow I'll be back but with a bigger budget.

Great starting place for a fun night out in Hollywood. There's flat rate parking at the Hollywood Car Wash ($5 instead of the $7 valet) so after dinner you can walk over to the Well or other bars in the hood without worrying about the valet closing.

We made reservations for 8 on a Friday night and they had it all set up for us when we arrived. Loved the chic yet casual vibe and familiar American comfort food menu with a range of prices. Our server was average, nothing outstanding or spectacular..

Food was enjoyable and in good-sized portions. My friends started out with the calamari and mac/cheese appetizers. The calamari was very
tasty: i had to stop myself after a few pieces to save room for my ahi tuna entree. Glad i did...the tuna was thick and seared to perfection. Wasabi mashed potatoes on the side was subtle and creamy... before i knew it, i had finished my plate.

Other people at our table got: the burger (huge!), the free-range chicken (looked great because they both finished it), steak salad (juicy strips of steak on leafy greens), and tuna tartare appetizer (don't remember the verdict on that one..).

My friends brought me a cake, so we didn't sample anything from the dessert menu that night, but would like to do so the next time i come back. Just a warning anyone who is going to bring cake for an occasion - they charge a cake fee of $2 a person, which we were unaware of, but whatever..

We had an awesome, memorable dinner, definitely due to the occasion (my move) and my rockin friends and adorable bf. We will remember our night at Magnolia for awhile.

I wavered between 3 and 4 stars here. Truth be told, nothing really blew me a way in terms of food - split the calamari and the avocado BLT, both fine but nothing to write home about.  But it's really the atmosphere that kicks this place up a notch (and the two celebrity sightings I had - more on those later). It's dark and sexy with a friendly staff and fun stay-a-while kind of vibe. So stay we did - for several Lavender martinis. Yum.

Bonus points as well for overhearing several L.A. idiots around try to discuss politics: "No, but dude, Prop 8 was like, so retarded. You don't get it because you're not, you know, like gay." Ah, locals.

And speaking of locals, my two celebrity sightings were Chris Pine, lately of the Lindsey Lohan masterpiece, Just My Luck.  And let us not forget his earlier turn in The Princess Diaries 2 (thanks IMDB!). The second however, ranks among my Top 10 awesome celeb sightings of all time: Ryan Gosling.  And yes, he is just as cute in person.  If that's not worth at least 4 stars, I don't know what is.

I was back in LA for the Oscars recently and "just the ten of us" had a birthday dinner here. I'd say this is a so-so place for a big group and a good time.

We came here on a Saturday night and next door Bowery was hopping.  I was tempted to stop in. We waited a bit for our table and sat near the window. It must have been 80 degrees in the restaurant. It was about 60 outside.

It's really too loud to even hear anyone but the person next to you, but the wait staff was pleasant, the bar was happening and my Concannon wine was good. I also liked the option of having a Bud Light for dessert.

I ordered the steak sandwich and it was ok, a little bland, didn't blow me away and I think a bit overpriced, but hey, this is Hollywood. I'm a NorCal girl now and am only used to seeing those prices with the gold label Organic or Free Range or Grass Fed attached to it. This plate had none.

I'd come here for drinks again but probably not for dinner.

I've walked and driven past Magnolia before but never gave it a chance.  This time, after getting out of a movie at the ArcLight, we decided to drop in for some food and a drink.

Let me start with the Executive Summary:
Good food, which is well presented, fast service, open late, nice drinks though a bit pricey for the drinks.  Can't go wrong with the entrees.

The inside is well decorated and I like the white subway style tiles.  They also had a section with couches, a bar area, regular tables, and outdoor seating.  Nice ambiance without a douchey feel, which at times, may be hard to come by in Hollywood.  The food was good too.  I was going to get the Tuna Tartare, but instead ended up ordering the Ahi Tuna Entree.  The Tuna was excellent, which made me think the Tartare would have been even better.  It came with wasabi mashed potatoes, which I had never tried before.  The mashed potatoes were good and did not have too much wasabi in it.  Also got the Wild Salmon, which I think came with rice.  The Salmon was well grilled and a good size portion.

Also tried the Mojito drink which was alright, nothing exceptional, and a lemon flavored drink which I can't recall the name of.

Good ambiance for a place that is open late.  We walked over, so I wasn't paying attention if they had parking or valet...I'm guessing they have valet, but you might wanna call and check.  FYI, on a Sat at 11:30PM, no waiting required.  That should be an extra star right there...

One doesn't really say this much about places in Hollywood but....it's pretty solid.

The food, while not awe inspiring, is served quickly, in a good portion, and has pretty good flavour. The Cobb salad was nice and, surprisingly, lacked any sort of foofy greenery like arugula or mache - only iceberg with good, solid blue cheese, bacon, chicken and avocado. My dining compatriot had a burger that he described as "good" with crispy fries and we shared the mac and cheese which was creamy, tasty and moist. No surprises food wise but it was pretty yummy. The wine -by-the-glass selection was also solid.

Our waiter was pretty mediocre but his absence and lack of face time was more than compensated for by the lovely hostess and snappy busboy.

The room is dim but tasteful in that confused but comforting kind of way. It was a bit loud, due mostly to a combination of subway tile, wooden tables and loud, slightly intoxicated 30-something Hollywood Bambis.

We ate here after Arclight so it was convenient, mostly because we were already parked. I would certainly not hesitate to stop in again.

Food - 4
Service -3
Decor 4
Other - good for before or after movie meal 5

We came here for a late lunch so it was pretty empty. Sometimes service on an off hour can be pretty clumsy, but this was fine.

It was a rainy day so we warmed up with a nice bowl of french onions soup. It was ok. From there, I ordered seared ahi with creamy spinach and mashed sweet potatoes (which were amazing). I substituted almost everything to make a custom dish, and they were very accommodating. Food was great.

like many of the other places i have reviewed, i havent tried the food- i only drank cocktails!

we went on a friday after The Well, and we sat at the bar.  the bartender was spunky and attentive, and when i was telling my friend, "the grape collins looks good" the bartender chimed in, "oh it's REALLLLLY GOOD" *enthusiastically*.  then we all got into a conversation about how GREAT Veev Acai liqueur is, and the bartender said there was a special on Veev cocktials.  so of course, i GOT that cocktail and drank it super quick.  AHHAHA! sometimes i wish the cocktail glasses were BIGGER, because it goes away in a snap!!!!! :(!!!!! and it was 10 dollars, too!!!!
i'll probably be back because it is across the street from The Well and i MUST try the grape collins! YAY!

I went here for one of my recent birthdays and had an amazing time. We were seated on the back patio, which was cozy and private, and our waiter was very attentive. Cocktails were good....very tasty, with fresh ingredients. We all sampled each others drinks, and I think my favorite was the ginger cosmo. For dinner I ordered the free range roasted chicken, with broccolini and mashed potatoes. This was SO good! I ate everything on my plate.

Magnolia is one of my favorite places in LA.

A little on the pricey side but it's worth it for the ambience. I was searching for cute restaurants where my cousin could have her 22nd birthday and we found Magnolia. When we got there, they valet'd our car so parking was convenient. Inside, there is couch seating for larger parties and it was perfect. The vibe and the ambience is great and there's a pretty young and hip crowd. The food is really good and they've got some excellent mixed drinks.
