as a yoga teacher and bodyworker myself, i have tried just about every modality of mindful healing available. once i stepped into dr. stephanie's office and got introduced to network chiropractic care, i knew this was something different. this work hasn't just helped to promote my wellness - it has raised the bar on what i thought was possible in life. not only does my physical body feel better than it ever has, but every aspect of my life has shifted and expanded with more ease, abundance and joy. the tools that network care has given me will be with me my entire life and are accessible far beyond the table.
network care is amazing work in and of itself, but the magical, powerful, confident, wise, focused, and yet somehow still incredibly sweet touch that dr. stephanie brings to every encounter is unparalleled.
go to magnolia and get ready for your pain to transform into energy for new and beautiful things if your life! -

Network is different. I call Dr. Stephanie my magic chiropractor because it's impossible for me to describe how someone who barely touches you can do so much good. But over time I have learned to trust her incredibly light touch as the most knowing, intuitive touch of all.
When I started seeing Dr. Stephanie I was in too much pain to go to a regular chiropractor. I could barely walk and had no hope any more for healing. Now I live a pain free life in my back and, if I could go more often, would be swinging from the chandeliers! -

OK, so I had been suspicious of chiropractors across the board for most of my life, with my first specific awareness of that suspicion starting with watching the movie "Jacob's Ladder" in 1990, where Danny Aiello portrayed one of those super bone-crunching chiropractors. All that rapid, violent pressure and accompanying hideous cracking can't be good for you, can it?
Well, I suspect that many people will have different opinions on the chiropractic field in general, so I won't try do defend my previous position, but I wanted to let you all know where I started from. Whether or not it's justified, I was afraid of the bone crunchers.
Anyway, I had never heard of "Network Spinal Analysis" before I visited Dr. Stephanie, but once I experienced it I became a raving supporter. When I first went to see Dr. Stephanie, I didn't even know it, but my spine, up at my neck was curved in a weird way and my head was always hanging forward. (No wonder I looked so great in my Frankenstein costume when I was 11!)
It turns out that her gentle, non-bone-crunching technique is amazingly effective even though it's not force that catalyzes the changes. You can talk to her to find out more about the theory behind her technique, but unbelievable change comes about as a result of soft but skillfully applied pressure at certain points along your spine, places where there is already ease, rather than at places where there is tension or problems. After a reasonable number of sessions (meaning it wasn't some weird thing where I had to keep returning forever and pay for a million appointments) , all that creepy neck stuff is gone, my ears are right over my shoulders, and my spine curves the way it's supposed to.
After seeing the incredible structural change that I've experienced, combined with improvement in the way that I feel in my own body have absolutely convinced me that this style of chiropractic care is amazingly powerful. And of course it is Dr. Stephanie who makes it all possible for us in her office up in the Marina on Magnolia St. She's wonderful, skillful and caring, and we're lucky to have her here in San Francisco. -

If I could give Stephanie 10 stars, I would. To say she has helped me out is the understatement of the year. I went in for help with back pain from a compressed disc and she opened up a whole world of healing to me. Her gentle methods really work and I've experienced healing on so many levels
from her intuitive work. I've experienced lots of therapy for old emotional wounds and I have to say that the fact that her methods clear out both physical and emotional at the same time is incredibly impressive. An added bonus is meeting her other patients who are consistently the nicest and most
interesting people you can imagine. This is not hoodoo , this is the real thing. -

I've been going to a chiropractor for years getting adjustments when I needed them. They always helped and I felt great until I threw my neck or back out again. Then I met Dr. Stephanie who had a completely new method that was gentle and long-lasting.
She really paid attention to me and I felt very connected to her immediately. She's got amazing intuition and is extremely dedicated to her practice and to making you better.
I owe many thanks to Stephanie and always look forward to walking through her doors. -

While some of the healing methods have been hard for me to completely understand, here is what I do understand: I am seeing results, I am in less pain, and I am feeling better. Dr. Bridwell cares. She is a unique breed with character, compassion and confidence. Listen to her. Take it all in. Ask your questions and she'll do amazing work, and, she'll teach you how to heal yourself. Amazing!

It was so refreshing to come across a Chiropractor who not only listens to you, but intuitively knows how to access your nervous system into a peaceful state. Dr. Stephanie may seem very youthful, but her deep wisdom of mind-body connection was so powerful. Not only is she great with the gentle stuff, NSA care, but can help you unwind whatever tension may be going on from old injuries ....(may they be mental or physical) Thank you Dr. Stephanie for helping me re-connect to my wholeness and learn more about wellness.

I have been seeing Dr. Stephanie for about 11 months now. Her care has made an enormous improvement in my overall well being. I feel better in my body, the pain in my spine and pelvis is hugely reduced and I no long wear a lift in one shoe to reduce my back and hip pain. The technique she uses is very low impact and gentle without the spine cracking that often goes with traditional chiropractic techniques. I had my doubts at the beginning as the technique is not traditional but have become a big believer as I have felt the changes and progress over the time I have worked with her. It is a commitment to the process but so worth it.

I see Dr. Stephanie Birdwell at Magnolia Chiropractic and I highly recommend her. She has a different approach then most of the other chiropractors I've seen, as she is very intuitive and seems to know exactly what my body needs to heal. She's never in a hurry to get me out of her office and she takes the time to make sure I'm adjusted properly before I leave. She is super nice and really cares about how I'm doing. She is doing this work because she really wants to help people, not for the money. She was a therapist before and she utilizes this in her work. I saw Lori Bohn there before and she is awesome as well. If you want a caring, effective chiropractor, check out Magnolia Chiropractic!

Dr. Stephanie is one of the most talented and loving health care providers in all of the bay area! Her touch is gentle, her presence is always caring, and the effects of her work run very deep. Every time I get off her table, I feel so relaxed and connected to my body. She has helped me break through old energetic patterns that have hindered my own personal growth. Every time I leave her office, I'm sure I've been touched by an angel! She is absolutely the best!
