They still flat iron my hair before trimming so it grows in evenly. I went in for a trim recently and am happy with it. They now have plasma screens so you can watch some TV while they work on you.
I advise letting the stylist know exactly what you want to avoid any surprises.

I've been going to see Olivia for my haircut for almost a year and she's been doing such a great job since I've been there. I would strong recommend her to anyone who needs a haircut.
JENNY IS AMAZING AND NICE. Although she may take her time doing my hair, it was worth the wait. The result on my hair was fabulous.. exactly what i wanted! FINALLY! Because man, have you ever went to a salon and pictured your hair to look a certain way or color BUT NEVER turns out that way?!?! It always happens to me!! JENNY will now be my permanent hair designer! THANKS! oh yeah, color and highlight charge is reasonable!
I was introduced to Olivia at Magic Touch by my cousin. I had over 10" of hair that needed to be cut and I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. (Having 2 kids and the recession tightens one's budget).
Olivia did an awesome job. My a-line bob is super easy to maintain. I can blow dry and use a straightener to make it cute or when I've got no time, just wash and go. After 2 months I'm still getting complemented on my hair. Thanks Olivia!
Oh, and the cut with a wash and blow-dry... only $25!
So for everybody penny pinching, I totally recommend Olivia at Magic Touch!

i went in and jenny did my hair. she did such a good job! i told her what i wanted and she did it exactly! she even styled it the way i wanted w/o asking her to do it! love love love.
she along with the other stylists are real friendly. and i only paid $25 plus $5 tip! that is a deal! i usually pay around $50 or $60 for my hair and sometimes it not even that good. but i love my hair right now! its perfect!
they seem like they were busy, right after i went in so try to go when they're not so busy.

This isn't my regular salon but I went here for hair extensions. My regular salon charges almost $1000 for hair extensions but my friend recommended this place. They did an awesome job! My regular stylist even said they did a great job. 5 Stars for the price. $200? Can't beat that...Had the extensions for 4 months, but decided to remove them for the new year...$25 for removal...that is a deal!!
My mom gets her hair coloured here every 3 weeks and Lisa the owner does a pretty good job, so 3 stars for that.
But I wouldn't suggest getting a trim here because OMG she doesnt listen all she says is "I know, I know" and chops of all your hair.
I've only gotten my haircut here once and I havent gotten back since.
I've been going to this place for my haircuts a couple of years now. Lisa was the one that would always cut my hair and then late last year, I found out that she was no longer there.
After having a baby, I really wanted to get highlights and change my base color. This is for someone who hasn't gotten their hair colored in like 5 years so I was extremely picky about who did my hair. I went with the guy Roy (who by the way is also no longer there). I loved how my hair turned out but after 1 month, I noticed that the color started fading. I think that totally did it for me with getting highlights, maybe I'll just stick to hair coloring.
I went back last month to get my haircut (8 inches infact) and Olivia was the one that cut my hair. She was able to cut my hair the way I wanted except for the bangs. My bangs were cut a little too short but I liked everything else so it was okay since my hair grows like weed.
The prices here aren't that bad at all. Haircuts usually cost $25, hair coloring about $60 - $90 and highlights with hair coloring and haircut are usually $130. If I find something better then I'm all for it but for now I guess I'll stick to this place. I really do miss Lisa though.
This is the worst hair salon I've ever been to. The only reason I went here was because the place that I normally go to (Structure Hair Salon - 2 doors down) was too busy to cut my hair that day. The owner, Lisa, actually started cutting my hair BEFORE I told her how I wanted it cut. I hated it. It was the worst hair cut I've ever gotten.
This place is a couple bucks cheaper than Structure, but I'd rather spend the $$ to have someone cut my hair that knows what they're doing. Moral of the story- go to Structure hair salon INSTEAD, ask for Angel- she's the best!
I've gone here a couple of times just to get my hair trimmed. Lisa, the owner of the salon is nice although her mantra "I know, I know" doesn't work sometimes. For layers and coloring, they've done satisfactory jobs and if you tell them completely what you want, they will definitely do it.
Word to the wise: They don't like doing edgy styles, such as too short layers or "emo" hair, if I should describe it.
I've been here a couple of times to get my hair done. I just got a haircut today. I have looooong wavy hair & wanted something different but almost the same length. There was one other lady who straightened my hair at first. The owner Lisa cut my hair. She suggested to have layers in front. She did a good job on my hair. The haircut was kinda expensive though, just to trim & get layers in front. Oh wells!
only go here for olivia, she's the best! she used to work at structure, 2 doors down, and elite hair, next door. Just ask for Olivia. cuts great, styles great, just great. i first went to her when my perm was growing out and she took care of my hair! she made sure that we didnt ruin my hair by makin it straight again. she did some condition and revive stuff and then we slowly straightened my hair again. she was great . i would go back to her every couple of months for trims and hot oil treatments. she's a keeper!
