An ode to the bar that I now live above:

Madrone madrone, home away from home
I may be moving in just above the dance floor
but to me youre not just a basement bar, but so much more
$4 Jamesons to provide me much glee
New friends, wild paintings, films featuring Jimmy Stewart on the TV
Live music for all to explore/dance and wail to/move and groooove
Tuesdays got bongos, DJ's on the weekends and a little open mike action which can surprise and soothe
This weekend (and the next and the next) I will be at your venue
Heres to some loud nights and spending my extra coinage on your adult beverage menu

What can you do on a random first Wednesday night of the month? If you are looking for a good time for the least amount of money, come to Madrone.

The free comedy show is actually really entertaining and I laughed out loud for a lot of the performers (I am a tough crowd). There is limited seating so if you get there early you can get a drink for happy hour and sit down.

...If you dont get there early, be prepared to be mocked by the comedians because the entrance is right next to the stage. You will walk in to the bar in the direction everyone is facing, which seems a little intimidating (as well as the bathrooms).

The decor on the walls are really cool. A burberry looking rifle over the bar and a dear with guns for antlers. Interesting. The menu is written with chalk on a blackboard. I thought that was cool.

Funny people, cheap drinks, cool ambiance. I would go to the comedy show again next month.

After a delicious dinner, Jenny W moved her bday party over to Madrone. The evening went as follows...

The Good:

*Fun theme nights. We happened to be here on 90s night, which was perfect for the bday girl. At first I was liking only about 1 out of every 3-4 songs, but the music got better as it got later. It would have been cooler if the big movie screen showed more music videos.
*Delicious infused vodkas. Including pineapple (my fave!). Though I heard reports that the cucumber vodka wasn't great.
*Friendly staff. The bouncer and bartender were both very nice to our group, making sure we were ok anytime we stepped outside for air and assisting us in a timely manner as we ordered.

The Bad:

*Cover charge. Sure, it's only $5, but this is San Francisco, not LA. I'm not down with paying to get into a place where I'm already planning to spend money. Or at least have others spend money on me. Even the bday girl had to pay...BS!
* We were here on a Friday and it was crazy crowded. The bathrooms are all the way down at one end, and it was like braving a mosh pit just trying to get to them. And then they smelled disgusting.

The Ugly:

* It gets hotter than hell in there, and that room does NOT circulate well. Aside from the doors being open and fans blowing, I nearly had a heat stroke, and this was sans any alcoholic influence. People were nice enough to make room on the couch for me to sit before I passed out.

I would return to Madrone, but likely only during the week and during happy hour. I'd like to get a chance to actually breathe comfortably and take a look at the place when it's not quite as crowded, and I'm always a sucker for HH deals!

Madrone has always been super fun every other time I've gone, but not necessarily when they have guest DJs or theme nights because...

a.) there is a cover (it's only $5 though which isn't too bad)
b.) b/c it is sooo overly crowded and HOT, like heat stroke style hot (see Patricia P's review)
c.) the line at the bar and to get in can get pretty long
d.) the bathroom situation.  They only have two single bathrooms, which is baaaad, especially on a crazy busy night.

Otherwise, I love Madrone.  They have fancy delicious infused drinks, good bartenders, good DJs, and fun, eclectic, art and furniture.  I felt like you couldn't take in the ambiance to the fullest though on Friday night since it was 90s night.  I'd like to come back again on a week night for a low key happy hr with friends or with a date.

A happy hour that's 4 hours long!

Shocking.

These are the specials during 4pm-8pm happy hour:
- $2 PBR's
- $4 well drinks
- $5 mojitos and infused vodkas

It was a happy birthday celebration indeed for a certain babelicious Yelpette (you know who you are darling!)  Casual atmosphere, efficient barteners, great space with the middle bar area open for mingling (or dancing)   Large cushy sofas at the far end of the bar with a big screen TV on the wall.   There's also chairs pushed against the wall and tables to hold your drinks and eats scattered throughout.

What so cool about Madrone, besides the interesting art pieces that decorate the space, is they allow outside food to be brought in.  Since Little Star Pizza is only few blocks away, we ordered 2 pizzas to share among the group.  That made this yelpy-yelper chick even more happy!  Needless to say, the birthday girl had a fantabulous time and so did I.

The bar was pretty decent. I was invited to hang out with my homie Gillian C. for her birthday, along with some familiar faces and some new faces. I can be safe to say that we all had a pretty good time mingling.

One cool thing about the bar that was pretty cool was that they allowed outside food in the bar. Little Star Pizza was perfect bar food! I had a great time and am lucky to have such great new friends!

Overall I see myself coming back sometime!

I had a great time celebrating my gorgeous bestie Gil's birthday here! It was really nice to hang out with a handful of Yelpers having cocktails. The place literally started to get crowded well AFTER we arrived. I think everyone in Gil's hood wanted to come and have a drink with her on her birthday too!  ::laughing::

The good:

THEY POUR HANGAR ONE - including the infusion ones! That is worth a lot to me for sure!

They have an abundance of house infused vodka flavors like coffee, mango, orange, watermelon, etc.  Mmm mmm!

The bartender made me a really nice dirty martini topped off so full that it leaked onto the bar. I was pretty much drunk after just one so I stopped drinking. Ok, fine. I normally can only drink one cocktail.

The ladies bathroom  - - - what I can say is thank goodness they have one with not one, two or three rolls of TP but an abundant FOUR ROLLS because after drinking I am constantly running to the ladies room!!

They let you bring food in from other places. I felt bad to eat garlic fries there but whatever. Those garlic fries and onion rings made my cocktail taste even yummier!

The projector on the wall played 80's movies! What is not to love about that?

The Bad:
The ladies restroom - - - a lotta ladies missed - - - that is all I can say. ::laughing:: That is my only bad thing to report, yay!!

I will return to this neighborhood gem because they have a great number of walls (painted with chalkboard paint) covered with really nice specials. I laughed so hard when I read the "Ike Tuner" which is  a shot of Wild Turkey and a slap. . .or "The Dirty Sanchez" - sadly I could not recall the ingredients but it sounded really good contrary to the name ::smile::

The Good : Rarely crowded, nice atmosphere, eclectic crowd (not many suck hipsters), the awesome photo of the older dude w the beard in the field.

The Bad : Bartenders do a lot of socializing instead of pouring drinks, the talent can be subpar.

Gets a bit crowded (AND HOT) in the evening which isn't so pleasant since the space is relatively small.  It's a shame too, I mean who doesn't like a michael jackson / prince showdown?

My favorite time to hit up Madrone is in the early evening between 5-9.  During that time, you can actually see the great collection of antique furniture they got going on. Not to mention there are great drinks, a full bar and drink specials I always seem to forget about when highlighting how well you can drink in the western addition for so cheap (ala beanbag, mojo, fly and now acme burgerhaus).

If you can handle the heat and crowds in a confined spaces while drinking and dancing, you will no doubt be down with Madrone.  It's a great neighborhood spot to kick it for sure.

The drinks are pretty cheap here, about $5 for a mixed cocktail.  Kind of small, decent music if there's a good DJ, but parking is a biotch!!

This place would not be on the top of my fav bars to go to.  Not even if I'm that bored.

Not my favorite..but often end up here since its very close to home.

PROS: awesome & always-changing art on the walls
they carry St. Germaine, my favorite and rarely-found liquor
can usually find a seat-lots of cozy chairs / couches
can usually do some dancing to some sort of live music / DJ

CONS: always trying to charge a cover! $10 on a wed?? Not so much..
arbitrary cc rules-min is $10 one night, $20 another
can have a strange crowd-and not the fun kind

OVERALL: not a staple in my life, but can rely on it for a decent time with good friends.

***UPDATE***

Owner messaged me that the CC min. amt. was recently changed so is now steady. Also, cover charge varies due to which live act is performing that night, but is flexible for neighborhood-ites. Thanks for the response Mike! SO, yea 4 stars.

If you come here before it gets crazy crowded, this place is amazing. Comfortable couches, awesome tunes, decent drinks, no cover. If you come here after 10, it gets super crowded and you have to pay a cover...it's only $5 but still it's a small price to pay if you want to experience what it's like to be a sardine and I'm not talking about a new dance craze.

We headed here for Halloween because it was one of the best bargains in town complete with good indie music. One of the reasons I go to these kinds of places is not for the drinks - it's for the music. Call me a music snob but music is what draws me here plain and simple. Fringe played a good mix of popular hits like the Ting Tings to more obscure dance tunes like The Presets which I appreciated. There were so many good costumes I couldn't tell you who would've won the iPod touch. We left just when they started it because sadly Daniel the King of the Hipsters and Buttercup of the Powerpuff Girls had some fierce competition. My only complaint - our lame friends who all flaked out at the last minute. Oh well, we still managed to have fun and socialize with a scary baby, a dominatrix and some other interesting characters of the night. We managed to get a goodie bag of other spooky treats and toys. Overall, an evening well spent.

I'm glad they finally found a better place for the fan...because it gets really hot in there. Hooray for little artsy bars.

Not, bad, the drink prices were fair and the bartender. Granted, we came here on a Monday night while visiting San Francisco. There wasn't a cover or anything. And the decor is pretty nice.

I believe it was Motown Mondays. This place was dead but it was nice to have drunken friends along for the ride. They managed to keep me entertained while trying to get through Diana Ross' "Ain't No Mountain High Enough".

NOTE: there is a $20 drink minimum to use the credit card as payment.

My trip to SF this past weekend was planned because of the Outside Lands Music Festival. But due to last minute changes, my friends and I missed the show Friday night with Incubus and Pear Jam *sigh* but I digress. Luckily we had a Plan B that my friend checked out ahead of time.

The event they had last Friday night was "I Heart the 90's: SF's Original 90s Dance Party." I was sold with just that! I can't remember what time we got here but we had to pay a $5 cover, eh not bad at all. The bar was so randomly decorated with a Burberry printed AK-47 rifle and gold-plated Mickey Mouse on a crucifix (I have a pic but haven't uploaded it yet).

I noticed their chalkboard drink menu to the right had a bunch of infused vodkas. In total I ordered three different drinks with the infused vodkas but only really liked one of them. I'm pretty lightweight when it comes to drinking so I expected the three drinks to do me in, but nope I was completely sober. The bartenders weren't really generous when it comes to pouring drinks.

But besides the drinks the DJs were awesome! I was groovin' to the '90s jams for a couple hours straight! They played everything from Boyz II Men, Salt-N-Peppa, MC Hammer to House of Pain. It was such a treat to hear Informer by Snow and Paperboy's Ditty. Ahhh the 90's were a great decade, why can't they make music like that anymore?? Another bonus was having projectors up  where they showed some of the music videos, my attempt at recreating the dance moves wasn't very pretty =P

One thing I do have to complain about was that it was too damn HOT! We got in to SF earlier that day and somehow they just got a random heatwave that didn't leave until late at night. So it was interesting dancing next to all these sweaty bodies since there was no air conditioning. Although they did have ceiling fans that helped to cool you down if you found just the right spot on the dance floor.

Overall I had a great time and wouldn't mind coming back here on my next visit =)

I went to Madrone Lounge after the ownership change. It is less loungey and feels more like a bar. I ordered three rum drinks from and most were good. Bartender was happy to change out what I didn't like without any fuss. I've been there before for shows and I've had a good time. I only worry the Marina crowd will dull down this place, but I hope it stays a neighborhood bar with unobnoxious people.

OK now one thing you have to realize when checking out the reviews on yelp for the local bars are the degree, or rather how drunk the person providing the review got at said bar....

That being said.. I LOVE THIS BAR! And I got wasted!

I've been here a few times since it is a perfect spot to hit and pre-party before seeing a show at the independent. We usually arrive a little early before it gets crowded and for good reason. Usually as we are leaving it is starting to pick up and get crowded. I also notice a door man on the way out and think now matter how fun a bar is a cover charge should be avoided at all costs.

I do like that the art wall changes almost every time here but how the decor of the Burberry covered AK-47, deer with AK-47 antlers or crucified Mickey Mouse always makes me smile.
Now enough with the ambiance...The drinks...
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AN IKE TURNER!! Its a shot of Hennesy and a slap in the face and is an excellent way to start the night. Follow it up with a High Life can for $3 and you cant go wrong. Like I said at the start, I'm here to get drunk before a concert and with the aforementioned combination of drinks its only a matter of time before your dancing your butt off at the independent blacked out having the BEST SPRING BREAK EVER! Who cares that it is October and you graduated a couple years ago??? not this guy!

The place does seem to attract a mixed crowd which is good and helps to represent the city pretty well. Right when it starts to pick up is usually time to head over to the concert so not sure how it is late night, but the open floor is perfect for dancing as there was a few cute chicks grinding away on each other....which i respect. A night that starts off here usually ends up with "forget the girls! I just want to dance kind of night" which is often not in my best interest but hey I'm drunk at the bar. Which is why i went! Thanks!

I really like Madrone, but I would make sure to check out their calendar before coming. Sometimes you can catch them on an off night and not be that impressed. Other nights it's freakin' amazing.
They have been having a Prince vs Michael night lately which i heard was awesome. It gets pretty loud inside so i wouldn't recommend bringing anyone you would want to actively talk to. :P

All true about cheap beer and tall boy heavies.

Went here (finally) last night for a friend's birthday. I have to say, that I could get used to this spot. Cozy, cool art (the plaid fabric covered golden AK47's were DOPE!), and a fairly nice bar staff. The cocktails are reasonably priced given the quality and selection, and they're mixed quite well. If you see the younger bartender with the sort of afro thing going on, he's your man - great service from that guy!

On top of that, they seem to have a pretty friendly clientele, loaded with beautiful ladies (hey, this is the kind of crap that gets my attention, sue me), and fairly non-douchey dudes.

Madrone, you won me over, I will return!

I don't know of too many places that sell budweiser Tall Boys. Props for that.

This is a great bar with tons of drink choices. All are clearly listed on the wall rather than having to guess what's available.

I love that they have imperial, a Costa Rican beer I enjoy.

On the weekends they have good music and it gets very crowded. Who knew there was a spot all the way out on Divisadero!

After countless times driving down Fell and seeing this bar I finally stopped in Friday night to give it a go.

Its quite dark inside and much larger than I expected. The bar is sorta small but I LOVE the gun above it. They have tons of drinks and specials listed on the walls so just take your pick! I went with my usual (patron on ice) and some of my compadres had beer. The scene was lively but we were there before prime time. Seems like a good neighborhood bar.

This is one of my main bars/clubs I go to in the city for several reasons.  Not only are the drinks hella good but the music they play is always entertaining.  If it's not 90s night then it's Michael vs Prince or some other cool collection of music.  The bartenders and security are all friendly and the owner seems to really care about his patrons having a good time.  It's safe and the cover is usually a lot lower than the other places in SF. The only thing I will say is if you're going to buy one drink you should just grab two because the line at the bar can get very long!  If you're into dancing, good infused drinks, and looking at random but cool exhibits on the wall and projectors I'd definitely check the place out.

So who doesnt love a Prince vs MJ party....

So when am I not late.....by the time I got there... it was like Green Day Packers in there. But beside the crowd the music was Great BIG up to the DJ!

Highlights....
The Music
The Vibe
The shot that got you a white glove ( and who doesn't love the glove)

Lowlights...
Too crowded
The guys in there were too forward for such a small space where you can't run from them....
And despite being on the guestlist the all female entourage and I had to pay =( yes the sad face and the Whack duck!

But overall anything can be fun with the right group of friends!

We like this art bar.  This is why:

-Delicious reasonably-priced drinks with memorable names and all sorts of flavors.  We had the Lola and the Allan Parsons Project.  Next time I'll try their Dirty Sanchez (surprisingly no chocolate smears)

-Plenty of space for sitting or standing

-Good music that doesn't interfere with conversations (i can't even recall what they play).  The DJ comes on after 9pm

-Interesting art (see pics)

-It has everything that I want in a bar.  4 stars.  Why not.

I like the redo of this bar a lot. My complaint is that its not even near fun until after 11pm. I'd like the party to get started here a bit earlier.

The dance floor is bigger - the moved the  couches all to be by the door. smart. And yes, the bathroom doors now open inward - duh.

Prince vs Michael is by far the best night and yes cover is $5 - if you are too cheap come before 9.

Still "eclectic cool" people-wise.

They have lots of great cocktails - specialties with infused vodkas. And a drink special every night - Saturdays is $3 21st Amendment Watermelon Wheat Ale.YUM!

It's on a corner. I am so dang partial to that. I can't say why, something about the view? the Feng Shui? I just like it. LOVE the sign 4shure as well as the big windows.

Decor is smooth and inviting.
I popped in on a TH nite in June09 after a show at The Independent. It was south of the border night full of girls who know how to swing their hips at birth. Cute, polite crowd.

Dance floor was spacious on a weeknight and I like how the DJ is right there to interact with the crowd.

A great place to post party if the show at The Independent closes early or you drop off a dud date and still want the night to end right.

I've been here a couple of times and each time I leave thinking..."eh, it's ok"

The drinks are reasonable if you get one of the specality ones, fruit infused vodka, tall boy, or $4 Jameson...other then that my jack and coke has always been on the weak side when served from here.

Local DJ's play here often and many of them are amazing. The bar gets really packed and hot later in the evening, so if you're looking for a laid back spot come early to lounge but expect to be over taken by 11.

Oh yeah and $10 min on credit cards was def resonable considering most bars in SF are cash only or have $20 mins.

Madrone Lounge is awesome. I haven't been there in awhile and was quite surprised to find that they have awesome new drink concoctions on the menu. Infused Vodka Martini type drinks are a special weakness of mine, so here was my night's kryptonite:

(Terrible at remembering the names of these drinks!)

I think it was called The Allen Parson's Project: Mango Vodka, Mango juice, etc. Super yummy drink - I will do free research on this project anytime.

(Insert Drink Name Here): Muddled Watermelon, Watermelon Infused Vodka, Lime = Super Yummy Summer Drink.

Forget the names, but not the drinks they were super good and they let the crowd I was with bring in Pizza from Little Star.....

Cool artsy lounge with a chalk-scrawled drink list that takes up on entire wall.  Infused vodka drinks was something new for me that night - I had the cucumber infused and a friend had the watermelon.  The refreshing aftertaste of cucumber reminded me of drinking Burke William's spa water - dangerously spiked.  One Grandma's Pie Martini (with rhubarb pie and berry vodka) and a carelessly made chocolate cake shot later, it was dance time!

Not much of a dance floor as most folks were just standing around admiring the wall artwork, posing for pictures in front of it (okay, that was our group), or chatting/making out on the comfy couches.  Our party of 5 made up 50% of the dancing crowd, which was fine by us since the DJ spun some good old school hip hop.  For $5, it's a cool spot to relax without breaking the bank.

A friend of mine and I convinced the bouncer to let us in 2 for 1! Haha, ask sweetly and with batting eyelashes of course--giggling never hurts either. This bar was so fun! I can't believe I've lived within walking distance for the past three months and had never been. The DJ even let me dance with him on the stage. Woot--think I'm going to Fringe tonight--should be good!

As the sober friend of the group, I am always on the hunt for great bars that won't annoy me come midnight.  I love the couches, the mellow vibe, and the selection of non-alcoholic drinks.  I have heard from my lush friends that the infused vodkas are the cat's meow, but cannot vouch for this personally.
Avoid this joint on the weekends after 11:00.  Not fun.  As others have mentioned, it gets mighty sweaty.  Mighty sweaty=gross=not fun.
Weeknights are great, and happy hour is even better.

This is the place to go to  when you want to see what happens when cucumbers have sex with vodka;  infuse themselves together in a bottle, begin pouring their sexual juices over some ice, and fall into your glass for some sexy tongue action  .

Wow is this stuff not the most interesting mixture? It's like drinking cucumber water but instead you get faded and if you don't watch yourself, you might go a little too far with it. Thats some dangerous stuff!

They also server 21st Amendment Watermelon Wheat which is another funky combo that packs a strong taste bud punch. Beer with watermelon?

Sure why not, I'm black and I love watermelon; CHECK
Sure why not, I'm black and I love beer; CHECK

Its a great beer! You gotta try it.

Decor:
Nice dim lit lounge with enough room for a few couch sessions with some random drunk or just enough room to grind up on someone's girlfriend on the dance floor as the DJ kicks out some tunes.

Overall, I am happy with Madrone and NOT just because they have a huge cock and balls painted on the wall that can be used as a pick up line..

"Hey baby, you think that is huge? Well check this out!"

*And I end this yelp review in jail for indecent exposure*

I dig Madrone, but I didn't know I was signing up for Bikram yoga when I forked over the $5 cover charge.  Mother of mercy this place is SWEATY!  Madrone trees are supposed to be drought resistent, but let's not test that theory by blasting us little seedlings with 107 degree furnace temperatures.

$1 happy hour beers is something I love about this 'hood and I think some other neighborhoods need to get on the bandwagon.  Cheap beers = happy customers = good Yelp reviews.  Madone has some delicious cocktail options and a variety of infused vodkas.  The watermelon gimlet helped distract me from the beads of sweat forming on my brow and the moshpit of people sloshing their drinks all over me.  Despite the crowd I found the bartenders to be attentive, quick and heavy pourers.  The Turner Classic movie playing on the screen was a a chic touch, as well as the living room furniture seating and funky wall art.

The crowd is not cookie cutter and I like that.  Very urban, good mix of scenesters...I definitely am not cool enough to hang out with any of them.

I have only been here for Prince vs MJ and the music is of course 5-stars all around.

The service is pretty friendly. The guy at the front door was nice, more on that later. The bartenders were cool.

There are some delicious cocktails; the Lola especially with the house made cucumber infused vodka. When I got my second drink of the night, the bartender noticed the bottle was running low, so he kinda shrugged and just dumped the rest of it in to my drink. I AM OKAY WITH THIS! I like booze. Make is strong, baby! The damage is around $8 for liquor.

The only real reason why I only give Madrone three stars is because it gets so ridiculously packed. I really wanted to dance. I desperately wanted to dance. But there is simply no room to do so. That's especially heart breaking when you love the classic tunes of Prince and MJ.

Because it gets so packed you also run in to the debacle of what becomes the restroom line. Where is the line? You can't really tell because it's so packed. When you exit the restroom, it's likely you'll accidentally slam the door in to a poor soul that thought they found a decent spot to stand or dance.

I really hope Madrone either expands for this event, or that the Prince vs MJ people take their show to a bigger venue. It's so jammed with people that despite my love for the music and the friendly service, I probably won't be back.

We left around 11pm because it was so suffocating. As we were leaving, some friends just walked in. They asked the guy at the front door if they could get their money back since we were leaving (and since they were there for a total of 2 seconds), and he did. Cool.

It might be easy to start some kind of riot in here. I can't imagine the crowd level is even legal. And while we're at it (yak yak...) why do they call it a lounge when people are packed shoulder to shoulder with pounding music, shrieking to eachother to be heard, and in order to get a drink you have to lunge through a 15 person parameter at the bar then wait an eon for a drink. Does that scenario evoke the word lounge? Please.

In some ways this is a cool place because of the diversity of folks there. The dance floor has a mellow vibe despite the stifling crowd, and the people are there to have fun.

Otherwise, an incredibly annoying part is the length of time it takes to get a drink. We're talking 30 or 40 minutes. Five dollar cover, no big deal. But having to wait that long for a drink - suckola. I just don't think I'd go back because it's too packed and undrinkable and conversing isn't really an option. They have some clever drink names, and me and my friend stood there hollering, "what's a dirty sanchez, again?"

So basically you just wait to get a drink,  look and dance. And god, the dancing. This place has some good dancers and some epic bad dancers. Epic bad. And the dance floor and the standing places don't really have distinct beginnings or ends, so you might be standing next to a fool and their fool dust could rub off on you. :-)

I have the impulse to give this place less stars because it's so so hot in there, and the whole drink issue, but their watermelon infused vodka was really excellent, and the movie playing on the screen was a potential conversation starter, and there were a lot of fun-to-look-at people and sometimes, really, that's all you need.

At 12:34 we went out side for a "smoke break" and left before it got sad. So I have no bad memories.

Warning: This is only for Prince vs. MJ

I came here expecting the amazing.  What I got was LAME.  L-A-M-E.  Do you like fat chicks?  Do you think ugly chicks?  Do you like east bay chicks?  Well, then come to Madrone for P vs MJ!  So awful.  Had to leave before midnight.  Not worth it.  Never come.  NEVER!...unless you fancy ugly, fat chicks from the east bay....or peninsula.
Btw: I'm gay.  Not worth $5, not worth a free cover, not worth it period.  Go somewhere else.  For the love of God.

I dug the bar but what was memorable about this place was the art. The first thing I noticed was the Burberry gun above the bar. Then the bartender pointed out the gold deer head behind me that had guns in place of antlers. The cross with Mickey Mouse on it was interesting also. It's just a cool, eclectic place with Motown videos up on the screen at the far end of the bar. Since one of my friends is originally from Texas, she and her fiance took advantage of the fact that they serve Lone Stars here. I did not realize you can get those outside the state of Texas. After leaving this bar and hitting up another, I found that in this neighborhood, Lone Stars are not that novel. Anyway, just a good bar with cool art. It's a chill place to hang with a friend or two and have a beer.
