5 reviews for Madrona Park
I went down to Madrona Park for the first time in years today to watch the Blue Angels and just kept saying, why in the world do I not come down here more often. From the little section of sandy beach to the trails leading up to the beautiful homes and views of Madrona, this park is a much overlooked Seattle summer spot.
I will definitely be back with beach blanket in hand.

I've worked for Spectrum Dance Theater off and on for 8 years and it is always a pleasure going into work because it is situated in the middle of Madrona Park. The view of the Cascades and Bellevue's constantly evolving skyline over Lake Washington can't be marred by any weather Mother Nature throws at us. The sandy beach is great for the children and is busy in the summer months. The shaded grassy areas are perfect for curling up with a picnic lunch and a book. Plenty of parking in the free lot (both free of time limits and in actual cost). A perfect park for the family.

It's alright. I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here. There is a view, but it's not unbeatable. I think cycling through the area would be fun. I might try that next week.
On the down side, the parking is TOUGH and the facilities are limited. But walking through the neighborhood around there is quite nice. Also, the drive along Lake Washington through the arboretum is one of my favorites in Seattle.

A nice little park 9.5 acre park that has trails and ends at a beach on Lake Washington. Great place to run, ride your bikes and have a picnic. Spectacular views!
Five stars to the supportive Madrona neighborhood families, businesses and friends who got this playfield and playground whipped into shape. It is the perfect mix of green field space, play area for all aged children, basektball court, tennis court, etc. Always full of visitors so stop by next time you're in the hood.
