My furnace died ... my mom, aunt, sister and niece were coming to visit the next day.
The date: December 18th
The temperature: 47 degrees
I called them at 6:00 pm, they came to inspect the furnace that SAME evening and made all the arrangements with the landlord. He came in the VERY NEXT DAY and did most of the work ... he left us with a working furnace that heated the house oh so much better and quicker than the old one. Great and prompt service ... I highly recommend them .... so does my mom :)
EDIT: Just for perspective ... I had called 4 other companies and none of them were able to do anything until after Christmas ... these guys are AWESOME!
Set up an appointment for an estimate. Guy never showed. No phone call, nothing. Took time out of my day to stay home for this, thanks.
Please Beware. Madrid Heating or Madrid Heating and Air Conditioning gets a big zero on professionalism and service.
Elmer Madrid replaced a gravity furnace for us but did not complete the job. It's been 2 months.
There is a large hole under our bedroom that still needs to be patched and the air flow is uneven (too much air in the office and it's too noisy).
Big zero:
1.) Does not complete the service rendered.
2.) He does not return phone calls.
3.) He is a no show when it comes to committing to an appointment and getting the work done.

I was referred to Madrid Heating by online site. Our project was the replacement of 1960s style gravity furnace with new furnace and new ductwork, also the replacement of the water heater with tankless system. Elmer Madrid is a very honest businessman and knows his trade well having been in the heating business since the 1970s. He is very confident in his work. He is very patient when going over the options with the customer and listens to our concerns and questions. His workers were skilled and swift. They went the extra mile for us not leaving us one night without furnace heat or hot water.
They even hauled away our ductwork, furnace and water heater. They completed the entire task, ducts, electric, plumbing. We got 5 other bids and the other contractors did not offer the complete service that Madrid Heating did, not by a long shot.
We learned during the project that our next neighbor also had their furnace and ducts replaced by Madrid Heating. His system works flawlessly. We are very happy with Madrid Heating and Elmer in particular. Would recommend him to friends and family 10 times over. Don't accept another contractor's bid until you have Madrid heating give you an offer, he will not disappoint.
