They had the cutest little dogs running around. One older dog was the glutton of punishment directly from the other puppy. He took it all in stride and didn't seem to mind a bit.
The titles of these wines reminded me of the Berkeley Cafe Gratitude (not in a good way). We tried Vivacious, Amorous, Infamous, Luxurious, Notorious, Prestigious, Bodacious, and Dangerous but ended up only buying one bottle of their Mischievous - an old vine zin.

No, I'm not writing my autobiography, these are the names of just some of the wines by Macchia. Located northeast of Lodi, this winery offers a huge variety of Italian, Zins, and other delicious reds at a very reasonable price. If you are a Zin fan, this is the place to go. Macchia has over 10 of them, so you're sure to find one (or more) to buy. And with a price range of $18-$28, the price really can't be beat for the excellent quality.
The service is great. People are very nice, and the tastings are FREE! YAY! And if you're a dog fan, they have a couple of the most adorable canines running around entertaining the guests.
A great place, delicious wine, friendly people, cute tasting room. Enough said.
