What a great business!
I brought my MacBook Pro in today because the directory was messed up - 35 minutes and $30 later, my baby was up and running just perfectly!
Mac Fusion's best attribute is that they can repair older Macs --- yes, the Apple Stores are wonderful, but many of them have a cut-off point as to where they will fix your Mac - Mac Fusion, on the other hand, will research the best parts to order and give you recommendations on how best to repair older Macs that aren't otherwise recognized by the Apple Stores.
In addition, they have a great selection of Mac products, third party products, and promise servicing setup on any Mac you buy there! I highly recommend checking them out for Mac needs!

Well what I thought was impossible became possible and happened...my iMac's hard drive started to take a dive. At first I didn't want to think it could happen. I thought about all the files and music that I had sitting on the drive. I haven't backed up in ages!!! Before my hard drive took a total dive, I decided to take it over to Mac-fusion. After all, they had great and trusty reviews and they were Mac certified! Mimi was so sweet and nice to me...I told her the situation and they assured me they would take care of my baby iMac and let me know what the story was. Well I dropped it off on a Thursday afternoon and got a call Friday morning saying they were able to back up ALL the files and they were able to locate the problem, my hard drive was dying. What I especially like about this place is before they did any work to my computer, they went over what was going to be done and the cost of everything. The computer was fixed and ready to go on Monday. I even had all my files placed back on my computer. I believe they charge an extra half hour to this...however it's worth the extra fee because the last thing you want to do is spend time placing everything back on...I took my iMac home, turned it on and everything was like I left it. It was almost like it never happened. I have been a Mac user for over ten years ... If your Mac needs fixing or upgrading, take it to Mac-fusion. They are reliable, reasonably priced and best of all, professional! You won't be disappointed!

We've all seen it before.
The movie scene where the distraught "other half" comes home and there's a stream of water running through the living room and you see them running toward the bathroom... ya, we don't have to see the rest, we know a body is in the tub, and down the drain, so to speak.
I came home and went over to my laptop to check in with the digital world. I didn't see the water but I heard that bloody sickening "click click click" and I could have fell to my knees had I the presence of mind to accept that my laptop had committed "hard-drive-o-cide."
Now, I had a back up. Once. It died. And I swore that I was going to send it out for warranty work, or replace it, or do something when the price was right. I'm economically challenged. I always thought there was going to be this great :::clouds parting, angels singing, ray of light falling on an ad in the newspaper:::: deal for a new back up unit. First word ::::gesture gesture::: "fat" second word :::gesture gesture::: "chance" that I got this done before my Mac'o-cide event.
So with the heaviness of my heart and soul, I carried the empty shell of my Black Pearl to my chariot; to deliver it to Mac-Fusion. Poor Mimi. You have to admit, anyone who would command a front office of a place that repairs computers is a warrior woman and a compassionate soul. She doesn't get a break. She gets to see us carry our "best friends" to her counter and beg that the drive be saved and the memories be restored. Yes, she was gentle when I wanted to know why she needed my home address. Look, my computer died and took every secret with it to it's grave. I don't think My personal hard-drive was working either. Mimi was a mix of understanding and all business.
You know how it would feel if you lost your computer, she has to see that all the time too. I think I'd crack in a job like that.
I did replace the innards with 500 gigs of drive (product, install, & tax @$180.). And I've morned the stuff I couldn't get back from email copies and jump drive saves. But I'm ever so pleased that I found a place close by in case my BP needs a tune-up or a faster anything.
Chris, thank you for putting up with frantic owner/operators. Thank you for saving me from a 100 mile drive to the place I got the unit at. Thank you for the email to let me know how it was going. I am looking for back-up deals and... I'm glad to see iCloud is coming soon. But I do see in my future bringing in my iTouch and my other Mac. Just to make sure they are okay for now. -

I have taken my Mac Pro here twice.
Nice people. Local business I like to support.
They had to work on a intermittent problem... the worst thing to try to troubleshoot. I feel for them, they put their back into it and work on it for like a million and 2 hours and charged for a lot fewer than that!

Great service and quick too.
I spilled liquid on my macbook just recently and my keyboard wasn't working. I brought it to mac-fusion and I got it back in one business. I was surprised by how quick it was and my keyboard was good as new with a warranty.
my only complaint was it was pricey but worth it, -

I never thought our iMac would need servicing. Then one day, I realized that was wishful thinking as the computer refused to boot to the desktop. I took it to the Apple store in Manhattan Beach only to find out that the hard drive had failed and would need to be replaced. I asked if there was any possibility for data recovery, and I was told that it was unlikely.
Being quite fond of the files saved on the computer, and horrified at the thought of losing them, I remembered seeing a mac repair shop with good reviews on yelp. I called to ask a few questions, and sure enough they were a certified repair center for apple products. I explained my situation, was given an honest assessment of things and a price estimate. Well, not only was my data retrieved, but everything was as good as new AND it ended up costing less than initially estimated. The repair only took a couple of days, and everything about their service will have me coming back without hesitation if I ever have mac problems again. -

I just actually called to inquire about their experience with certain advertising agencies, (I won't specify which ones,) to determine if spending money on the advertising was worth it for my business (PC repair service.)
I spoke with someone who was very helpful and friendly. Keep in mind that I wasn't calling to get my Mac repaired!
I've been to other Apple repair shops that made me feel uncomfortable, but I don't think that Mac-Fusion would be one of those places based on the service that was demonstrated on the phone.

I brought my macbook in last week to get the optical drive worked on. Within 2 business days it was returned!! Mac-Fusion works super fast.
However, my audio didn't sound right after I got it back but I returned the next day and they fixed it on the spot! Great service! Highly recommended! -

I visited this store yesterday to purchase an adapter for my mac and the girl at the front desk handed me an adapter and said "This should work" I paid my $16.00 took it home and it did not fit. Today I returned (Driving several miles) to exchange or return. She then told me they did not have what I was looking for and that I was stuck with the adapter because they do not do returns, she advised me to try and sell it. I had all packaging, receipt etc. There is nothing posted anywhere inside the place with store policies or even on the receipt. They should have advised upon sale. BBB is next.

I've been buying (and servicing) my Macs through mac-fusion for about 7 years now with no regrets. The prices are great, but the service is outstanding.
They get to know you and always seem to know what you need. Better yet, they've never let anyone I've recommended them to down. If you're looking for a place to be a higher profile client than what you can be at the Apple Store, mac-fusion is it.Listed in: My Neighborhood

If your rolling a Mac, this is the place for service! The staff is great, friendly knowledgable. Service is fast affordable...I mean computer problems are never fun, but it's good to have a place to go you can trust. I teach at a school and these guys/gals (yes there is a few female Mac geeks out there) set up our servers service our comps, etc... They seem to do it all. While i'm sure they CAN "geek speak" they refrain from it for the most part so there is no intimidation factor at all. This place is a must for all your mac needs.

If you need your Mac repaired, this is a good place to go. I had been having problems with my iBook for awhile, but I was too lazy/busy to drive to the nearest Apple store. Turns out, there's something right here in town. They got my computer back to me in about a week. The rate was very reasonable -- my computer was out of warranty and needed a new logic board and a new hard drive -- for what those parts would cost, I may as well have gotten a new computer, BUT MacFusion hooked me up with Apple's flat rate - $350 fixed everything. I'll definitely go back here for any Mac hardware needs.

We have had various problems with our MacBook in the past year. My hard drive crashed, then it would only double click and recently we had a software issue. I love my Mac and I love mac-fusion for fixing it and dealing with my computer illiteracy. They are very kind. I think the longest repair was two days.

Mac Fusion has always taken great care of me over the years. They are friendly, efficient and skilled. Until now it was never convenient for me to go to an Apple Store but even so, the stores tend to be a bit to frenetic for me when I'm dealing with a computer crisis.

Where to start? Chris, the tech, interrupted his lunch to answer my desperate pleas (hollering through the locked door) to help me. My computer was fixed in less than 24 hours, and best of all, I didn't have to go to the Apple Store (something I avoid at all costs). I trust them completely with my equipment and wouldn't let anyone else touch it.
