I'm not the most girly of girls and in this economy, it's hard to imagine spending as much money on doing something frivolous like spending more than $100 on getting your hair colored and styled at a salon.  But lucky for me, I was given a gift certificate to this place in town and I decided to splurge on myself.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated so sweetly by all the staff.  I was asked if I wanted anything to drink first by Jody, the receptionist, before I even sat down with the very adorable stylist Whitney.  We spent a few minutes going options about hair color, and she did a great job listening to the fact that I didn't really want to go overboard with highlights and foil wraps, etc.  I also explained that I travel often and wanted a simple, easy haircut that worked with my wavy hair which turns into a mini-Afro in humidity.

Whitney was great.  I mentioned I loved scalp massages, so she took every opportunity to do so - during the shampoo and conditioning, while waiting for the color to set, even under the dryer!  She even took the time to put on a little make-up on me while I was sitting under the dryer, just because she likes to putting on make-up.

I was very happy with the services provided by the staff.
