Can I stress to you about how freaking hot this store is? Gorgeous, amazing things that you will own forever.
True story, I bought a Loomstate sweatshirt here for around 300 bucks, and I totally hated myself for spending that much. 4 years later, I still wear it on a weekly basis and it doesn't show wear like it's 4 years old.
You get what you pay for, and in this case it is timeless class, style and grace.

This store is really great.  Seriously.
SALE RACK.  Awesome.
I was hoping, looking for a good vintage store to find a dress for my friends wedding.  I walked in, and found more then I was looking for.  Oscar is so so nice!
I found great vintage pieces, and great new designer pieces that look like great vintage pieces.  The jewelry is fun, funny and darling.
Nice surprises and new ideas lurking around in there.  Definitely going to go back and check for what's new and what's on sale.

Luxe De Ville is the best!  Even if I'm not in the market for anything, I still stop by just to hang out for a bit (especially during my lunch break) and scan all the merchandise. The store has a ton of jewelry from local and independent designers everywhere. The store is stocked with a great selection of vintage dresses for all tastes.

It can get a bit pricey, but you could find something for any budget.

On to Oskar. He is the owner and is always welcoming. He'll strike up a conversation with you and make you feel comfortable. No matter what your style (or budget) is he will help style an entire outfit for any event, right down to tips on hair and make up. He makes one-of-a-kind hats that are GORGEOUS, his jewelry is really nice too.

All in all, a great place to shop or just look around.

I love this place.  It has such an interesting mix of vintage and indie designer clothing.  They also have a bunch of really cute jewelry behind the counter.

I'll tell you the real reason why I gave them five stars, though.  The people that work there.  They always seem genuinely pleased to see me when I walk in, but they don't follow me around and push things on me. It's just the right level of acknowledgment without bordering on harassment.  You know what I mean, right?

I think it's fair to say that if it weren't for Luxe De Ville, I don't think I would even have any clothes.  Every time I pay down my credit card I end up walking into this place and instantly ruining weeks or months of discipline.

They have lots of groovy clothes for men and women here, so no, everyone I know, those sunglasses I have did NOT belong to your mother.  I don't think.  Shut up.  They're rad.  Your mom can't have them back.

The stock changes frequently here, so if you walk in and nothing is to your liking, come back in a couple of weeks and you'll probably find something.  (If you live out of town, I recommend whining and complaining about how everything in L.A. sucks compares to your city.  We love it when you do that.  I think there's even a song about it.  "Bitchy visitors who don't have a car, can't take a bus and are too cheap to take a cab?  [WE LOVE IT!  WE LOVE L.A.!]"  At least it's something like that.  Whatever.)

Best thing about this place?  The dressing screen.  There's just something damn sexy about one of those.

I had a WONDERFUL experience shopping at this store!

The lady (maybe the owner?) was working when we went and she was super nice. She showed us the sales rack and left us alone after that, which I really like because I can't stand workers breathing down my neck when I'm shopping. I was happy to pick out a retro 70's style dress that was on sale for 50% off and ended up paying only $14 for it!

The selection of clothing is very eclectic and trendy. The prices varied from average to expensive, with designer labels that we hardly hear about.

I hope to come back to shop here whenever I'm in the area again!

This place is quite fabulous and deserves it's name: it's Luxe, to be sure, but in a quieter sense than most poshie clothing places in NE Los Angeles.

The best part of going into Luxe de Ville, for me, was seeing that the selection was huge and incredibly varied - you don't see that much anymore, too much generic stuff week after week at most clothing stores.  Luxe changes its displays and offerings more frequently than most other stores, and it's nice to be able to pop by each week without it getting old.  Nice touch: it was lovely to see that it's a community gig - local clothing designers fresh on the scene.  This has drawn a very (ahem) scene-ister crowd of the Los Feliz and Silver Lake fashionistas, so try to stop by during a weekday on off-peak hours in order to avoid feeling pushed around by enthusiastic hanger-hogs raiding the racks next to you.

Cost-wise, it's hit or miss.  Some things are very pricey, whereas other items are budget-safe.  It's a matter of going through all the racks and asking their very personable staff for help finding the right style, colour, fit, and price.  You'll find something, no worries.

Luxe De Ville

It's one of my Echo Park favorites.  The owner is a super sweet down to earth guy that really cares if YOU (the customer) is happy.  They've got vintage clothing and unique jewelry made by local (and not so local) artists/designers.

Their tempered glass bracelets and necklaces are fabulous enough to make a girl want to smack her mama!  Also, the hand painted cuffs are divine, and different enough to get you compliments all night long (you attention grubber-- don't lie!).

The best thing about this shop is not their low prices (although things are reasonably priced) -- but it's the fact that all the items are so ahead of the fashion curve.  I purchased one of the hand painted cuffs about a year ago, and I just saw that artist had some items in Metro Park (shop in the mall) a couple months back.

Luxe De Ville:  get tasty jewelry, hipster clothes and other rad stuff that will make you wanna smack your mama.

After shopping all afternoon for a birthday outfit to wear that same evening (I know, I'm crazy) at all of the boutiques in the Echo Park area, my last stop as I was ready to give up was at Luxe de Ville.

Not only was the guy who runs the place really interested in helping me - he listened to my complaints about the pregnant-looking tops that are dominating all the stores, and about the too-long tops that hug my mid-section, etc, but he had the perfect top for me -exactly the mix of modern, cleavage-bearing, structured, top I was looking for.  And, it was on sale for half off.

I'll definitely be popping in soon to see what other treasures I can score - and this time with a bit more time on my hands!

I have so far procured a wonderful winter sweater, and two ties from Luxe. One of the ties is a skinny, vintage dior, my weakness.

The guy running the place is extremely nice and helpful. There is some really cool stuff in here.

I'm not giving 5 stars because there are also some pretty poor designs in here if you look hard enough. Stuff that you might find in west hollywood in junky stores on melrose. The kind of prints with squiggly lines all over the place, the kind of t shirt douchebags in hollywood will wear with a sports coat.

This place was overpriced, picked over, full of surly hipsters (at best) and a pain in the ass to get to without a car. Wait...did I just describe everything in LA in one swoop? At least the weather is nice.

I read all of the Yelp reviews of Luxe De Ville before a recent trip to LA, and I decided that I HAD TO go. You all have slim pickings in terms of vintage stores down there -- even the shit stores in SF put this one to shame.

Best customer service, ever.  As a local, my best friends and I usually drop by Luxe de Ville  for our monthly fashion fix. You could find local designers being featured inside this store.  It has a wide range of music playing  in the background. Great  music choice with La Ley.

The best thing about this store,  it has  the best window display in Echo Park/ Silver lake area. Every one or two weeks, I enjoy  driving by and seeing the new window displays.

They have a huge selection of 80's deadstock sunglasses.  Better frames than  California VIntage.

Huge shopping tip: If you ever find vintage  clothing gem, BUY IT. I have found amazing  dress but I decided to wait for my next paycheck. On my next trip, it was gone!

this place is SO fucking "echo park" it makes me sick.

filled with ugly shoes, ugly dresses, and old salavation army purses with pictures or brooches put on them to make them look new and cool. you know what, LAME.

however, the owner is very nice and helpful. which makes me think he only has some of this shit because his neighborhood buddies make it and he feels bad. also, the echo park dorks buy it.

He does have some stuff worth buying: certain hats, clothing items, accessories. you just have to be willing to look through the other bullshit.

Loved this store. Whoa, did I miss out, having not shopped here when I lived in LA.The store has great stuff, for that super trendy shopper to some solid pieces for the always looking collector. I found a gorgeous Armani dress that was so beautiful only I didn't quite have the body to fill it out, or more accurately too much of a body for it. And it was under 80 dollars. I did walk away with a total designer score and will be back for more clothes or  great jewelry next time in town. Now I have one more place to hit up when I come to Echo Park.

right across from the kids are alright, luxe has loads of good vintage finds at reasonable prices.
i bought a (fake) chanel vintage navy quilted bag for 20 bucks. can't tell if its real or fake cuz its vintage. need i say more?

they also have their array of local designers...and the guy that works there is super friendly and helpful.

another one of my favorite small boutiques. yay!

I like this store because it has a good collection of indie designers. The owner and the workers are very helpful and fun to talk to.  I like it the most because it sells my line of painted purses (elponk)  There is a big price range and a lot of work is one of a kind. So if your budget is big or small there's something for you. Its the kind of store that you would like to check out a lot because some things are one of a kind.  It's something to see and shop at in the echo park area.  Oh it has great jewelry, designer vintage, new, punk, and everything in between.

love love LOVE this place.  thanks to my friend (you know who you are!) for introducing me to this place.  so sad it's so far from me.  i hate living on the westside, because i always end up on the eastside to eat, shop, hang out, go out.

i found the BEST sunglasses here last time i went - it's dead stock from the 80s (so jerry tells me) - they are gigantic, light, shiny and beautiful. also got some huge gold chain. everything is reasonably priced.  my friend got me a vintage celine bag here before (real or not, it's gorgeous!).  saw a vintage oscar de la renta dress there but it wasn't my style.  overall great vintage/random finds. ok i need to stop b/c jerry wants to keep this place low key/low profile. and i agree!

even after working as a stylist assistant, i think this may be my favorite l.a. discovery. very reasonable prices on new and used clothing collectibles. i'm always in the market for cheap gold jewelry, and i've found a good selection here. as well as inexpensive one-of-a-kind heels and purses. i almost don't want to let on how good it is so that there will be some left for me. :")

this is one of my FAVORITE  digs. this is the second store in los angeles, i started selling creations to. oskar, the owner, is the COOLEST CAT  ever. he just loves people and genuinely wants everyone to walk away with something. he has incredible taste and prices. if there is something i absolutely fall for and it's a bit much, he gives me a wee bit of a discount. this store has been around for more than 10 years and i'm so proud to be a part of it and know the people behind it. there totally is that neighborhood pride happening there. stylists from all over town come to the shop knowing they will find something amazing. and designers go there as well, to find inspiring pieces. and of course countless locals, guys & girls, know they can always find something here; jeans, purses, t shirts, dresses, coats. vintage and new, not to mention really really unique accessories, shoes and boots, oh, and DOPE   sunglasses, too. NOTHING  i've ever gotten here, have i ever regreted or not gotten a fabulous complement for. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
