I was at computer school for a week and half, and this place was next door to my hotel. There is something to be said about walking through insane Houston heat and humidity in August and finding a giant container of beer on ice when you first walk into the joint. The BBQ is good, not great. I had brisket, sausage and some chicken. Decent enough for a guy from California. My favorite thing was the corn bread, it was in the shape of the State of Texas, how awesome is that!

Seeing as how i used to work here, its only fair that i give it this review. The food is okay, I mean you can't go wrong with BBQ in Texas. The service is not the best, it definitley decreased when I left. Just stay away from the potatoe salad, that is if you decide you have to have it and pay the rediculous price for a side. Its clean so thats a plus. The BBQ meat is of average quality. The only thing i really recommend is the stuffed baker. Its better than the rest of the food. And stay away from food from the grill, ie the chicken sandwiches and cheeseburgers. Unless of course you like to be sick after you eat. So if you want a baked potatoe and are lazy and willing to spend the 6 bucks yes, 6 bucks, by all means come here. A 2 out of 5.
