Pure jasmine has to be my favorite scent in the whole world.  There's something about the smell of jasmine that simultaneously puts my mind at ease and quickens my pulse.  I first became hooked on jasmine after drinking a lot of jasmine tea during a study abroad in Vietnam ten years ago.  And then just last year I finally discovered the wonders of heated jasmine essential oil.  Finally, just a few weeks ago, my friend Amber turned me on to the best bath product ever: LUSH's jasmine and honey "Flying Fox" body wash.  Washing with this stuff is like being wrapped up in a lathery cloud of aromatic perfection.   Since it's quite a potent body wash, I'm unbelievably happy that my skin seems to be blooming delicate jasmine flowers all day, and my bathroom smells great too.  I only wish they made a lotion to go with it.

I love Lush. I'm decently new to it, but I'm already addicted.

Their employees are so great and helpful, and knowledgeable to boot!

A friend of mine told me this place has amazing products. After looking online at what they had to offer I decided I had to go in and get something to try out. They had a sale where you could buy 1 bath bomb and get two for free! So I did. I tried it out this past weekend and it was really great! The smells coming from the bath and the color of the water was really relaxing. Especially when taking the bath with another person = ). The place is a little pricey.

Mmm...yummy!

I have to refrain from sinking my teeth into some of the bath products Lush has to offer... they are just THAT good. And TEMPTING. I mean,  half the products look like cupcakes or sweet candies... and they really are - for the skin.

After an especially long, stressful day... it is refreshing and self-rewarding to run a tub of warm water and drop a bath bomb in the tub until it fizzes to perfection....turning the water cool shades of pink or blue... My favorite is Sex Bomb....which fills my tub with a sweet pink cotton candy hue and  leaves my skin smelling and feeling divine... or Butterball... which leaves the skin SO SMOOTH you'd think you just basted yourself (hmmm...is THAT why they named it Butterball?) Ha.

I love, love, LOVE Lush...and if you haven't tried it...you should!

Last week, after eating at Thaitalian with Robin, I wanted to stop by LUSH to pick up more moisturizer.  They closed about 10 minutes before we got there!

Disappointed and ready to head back to the VC I knew I'd have to probably order more online.

The next night we had an event at City Walk and I parked in the premier lot.  As soon as I walked in (I haven't been to City walk in ages), there it was the giant green and orange sign.

Running fashionable late I poked my head in to make sure they'd be open later and they close at 11pm!

I was thrilled.

I went back and got my Imperialus moisturizer and the girl introduced me to Angels on Bare Skin face wash, Breath of Fresh Air toner, a new massage bar (lavender- can't remember the name) and a body soup that was lemon grass and rose.

I love LUSH and the two employees here were of lots of help!

It's a bit 'pricey' but it lasts forever!  You must try it...
