Well-known dermatologist in the NO Metro Area..in fact she regularly appears in multiple women's interest magazines (Glamour, Cosmo, etc).
I used to come here since my HS days but I never saw Dr. Lupo, only her associate at that time, Dr. Sherman. When you enter her building (literally, she owns it), you go 3rd floor and into the reception. Honestly, the only types of people you see here are upper middle-class housewives interested in their botox fix. Anyway, the staff here are friendly and genuinely concerned (despite the doctors...)
Had an emergency rash reaction and her office was able to take me in same day - awesome! She immediately looked at my back (thanks mom for your home remedy...it burned/hurt like heck) and prescribed a fancy concotion to slather on my back. What i didn't like was her attitude about my finishing of Accutane ("you JUST finished it? and you're HAPPY?)...then she pushed me to do some laser stuff....uh...no thanks.
anyhoo, she knows her stuff and definitely has the credentials to back it up. her office is one of the few businesses back post-Katrina, major props there.
