We got the last open table on a Sunday evening in a full dining room. The server was a bit harried (hence the Help Wanted sign in the window, I suppose), but was cheerful and efficient and made us feel welcome. We had pizza and dinner salads, though there was a decent menu of basic pastas, all under $10. The salad was crisp and the pizza was above average: fresh ingredients, good cheese and crust.
Full, we passed on the spumoni and tiramisu desserts.
A great neighborhood place for an inexpensive meal that will satisfy.
I want to write nothing but funny and cool reviews because I love adulation and rewards on Yelp.
But this is a very utilitarian review for a very utilitarian restaurant.
Luigi's is the ultimate stand-by. You want stock italian like you remember from the 70s? Tasty, salty, unpretentious? It is here. Baked spaghetti. Just like you want it. Comfort food to end all comfort food.
Pizza that isn't a disc with crap thrown on it? Luigi's has that too. Not quite Chicago deep dish, but much heartier that anything else you'll find in Seattle. Very very nice.
Definitely a neighborhood haunt for Magnolia, you will find regulars here - people who have been coming for decades.
Good food, good prices, fills you up, and reminds you that every dinner doesn't have to come with a full ingredients list or a $50 price tag.

If your Hungry in Magnolia & if Pizza is in your mind.. Luigi's Pizza & Pasta may be the place to stop. They have a Nice Pizza & Pasta Selection to choose from.
I enjoyed the Garlic Bread with Melted Mozzarella Cheese on top for the starter, it tasted rather nicely with Marinara on the Side as a dip.
The Pizza I tasted was topped with Mushrooms, Sausage, & Green Peppers and topped off with some extra pepper!! It was yummy.
The Drive to & from Magnolia gives you spectacular views of the Seattle Skyline++
