2 reviews for Lucky's Pub & Grille
I had the opportunity to get by Lucky's after a comedy show. Most of the comedians were from Detroit and announced that they were hanging out here after their show. I had never been and I wasn't quite ready to go home. This establishment has a full bar, pool tables, wait staff and I believe I may have saw a game of darts going on. The food menu was a extensive based on my experiences with bars. My white chicken chili soup was fabulous! And the portions are huge!
My only issue with Lucky's is that the parking is tight. I parked on a residential street and didn't have to walk too far. Then there is the cigarette smoke. Boooo! Other than that I would hang out here for quick game of pool and a bite to eat.
Apparently my mother goes up here occasionally with her friends, so she invited me to go with her last night to chill and get some drinks. I was actually surprised at the interior of the place. It's a standard bar/grille restaurant, with booths along the perimeter, pool tables and a long full bar. There are tons of televisions around the place, with each booth having their own individual television to look at. That was pretty interesting because each table was watching their own television show. The food was pretty good, but it did take a long time to come out. When I complained to my mother she whispered "It's only one cook".. to which I replied "so what??". Overall, it was a cool experience, and I would actually recommend my friends checkin it out. When we were leaving, the DJ was just getting there. So I assume after 9pm, it starts to get more "bar" like.
