Cheap Fun! Yes, there is a .50 deal on Thursdays and Sundays. The beers are tiny, but it still ends up a pretty good deal. Here is the real scoop, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday is $6.00 cover all-you-can-bowl, and $1.00 beers (16oz). I did the math on this folks. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays are the way to go.
Aside from cheapness, which should be your primary motivator, I find the bartender quite friendly and the facilities quite immaculate (these are things I never thought I would say about a bowling alley). Also, the music was surprisingly good, though it took a turn for the worse around 11:30. Maybe it was their way of saying "get out".
The biggest complaint is that the light balls, you know like 8 pounds (I'm a wimp) have teeny tiny finger holes, that even I cannot fit my teeny tiny fingers into. There needs to be more ball variety to choose from.

Scummy as hell. Everything you touch feels greasy. This is what a bowling alley is supposed to be like. Only thing missing from my childhood is billowing cigarette smoke, which I honestly don't miss. Went on a Thursday for 50 cent night, but I can't confirm or deny about Tuesdays or Sundays. $5 gets you in, then it's 50 cents per game, mini beers, mini sodas, mini slices of pizza, and mini nachos. Good mid-week hangout.

Pretty good place to bowl, went on $0.50 bowling and beer night, strange people that work there may even accuse you of stealing bowling shoes and charge you $2!

Used to bowl here in college all the time... 50 cent nights are amazing, 50 cent beers and games for a $5 cover. This place has the definite classic 50s bowling alley feel to it, complete with no-nonsense staff and hardcore bowling addicts hanging out at all hours of the day and night... Last time I checked, 50 cent nights were tuesdays and sundays starting at 10, and Thursday nights were dollar games and beers for a $5 cover. Good times.
