Review from Ernie K.
I honestly don't care if they jacked up the price recently. Their food is definitely worth it. By the way, my review might be little biases since I haven't had a decent Italian food thanks to living in Dallas.
Vongole Posillipo (Cockle clams steamed with white wine and garlic broth) is to die for. This is a must if you are there and be sure to ask for some extra bread so you can dip it in the sauce.
Tagliarini del Barcaiolo (Fresh black linguine sautéed with sconcigli, Mediterranean mussels and cockles clams in a light spicy Italian plum tomato sauce finished with chopped parsley) is almost a must. Black linguine is what you call pasta nera or squid-ink pasta. Definitely worth trying and I highly recommend it.
If I ever live here or visit again, I would bring anyone I am with here. And if you bring a date, you will definitely score afterward. Just kidding :P -

Haven't eaten here since just after the place opened a bunch of years ago and I was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I came here for our anniversary and everything was just right. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing and the service was very attentive.

Luca is a wonderful, upscale Italian restaurant. I can find no fault at all. The service is welcoming; the food is beyond delicious.
My aunt is a fan of the restaurant, and took our visiting family for lunch today. We enjoyed the Mesclun salad; the Caesar Salad; Pumpkin Ravioli with Sage butter sauce; Lasagna Bolognese; Gnocchi; and Sea Bass. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented. Desserts we enjoyed were the Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Biscotti Assortment and Lemon Sorbet. We had soft drinks, one glass of wine and coffee.
Our bill was about $40/per person, which I thought was very good considering the quality and the number of dishes we ordered. You could certainly eat lunch for less, but we were still full at dinner time, making the expense equal to lunch AND dinner for our family.
I wish we had a wonderful spot like this in our neck of the woods. -

Very inviting atmosphere, somewhat genial hosts, and nice presentation, but on several of our trips, we found the menu very overwrought. Perhaps if they kept things simpler. I guess some diners just expect loads of ingredients. Not me.

The food is fantastic and the owners Luca & his wife are wonderful. I have only been there for lunch on numerous occasions, never dinner. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. You will be happy with anything you order from the menu. Great wine list as well.
