Simply put, Rachael Feigenbaum is a fantastic, compassionate, and skilled vet. She has lovingly and capably cared for and nurtured my cats AND me over the last 7 years. I am thrilled that she has started up a "house calls" business - this is a badly needed service (especially for cats) in San Francisco. I often refer to her as "the kissing doctor" because my cats have always gotten kisses from her as part of any other treatment she administers. I am sure that Lotus Veterinary House Calls will be very successful!
"Dr. Feigenbaum's name is a mouthful but don't let her name scare you off. She is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever met. I believe she cares as much about my dog's health as I do.
She's helped us through accidents and illness and help keep my dog healthy for nearly 8 years. In fact, my dog is so healthy from the good care that people often ask how old is my PUPPY.
My dog is afraid of most everyone but she actually wags her tail in excitement when she sees Dr. F.
I have recommended Dr. F. to friends for in-home euthanasia for their old, sickly pets. My friends said they appreciated how she took time to calmly and lovingly examine their pets and how compassionate and patient she was with their process.

I am long, long overdue for writing this review of our excellent and extensive experience with Rachael, Dr. Feigenbaum. I don't even know how to begin to describe all the amazing things Rachael has done for our multi-species family and how grateful we are to her.
Rachael extended the life of our beloved and quite arthritic pitbull, Rosa through regular acupuncture treatments for the last few years of her life. Not only did it help immensely with increasing Rosa's mobility (she would romp like a puppy the next day), we also believe it helped her with pain. You know someone has a deep love for animals when she'd willingly stick needles into a scaredy cat old pitbull who still had enough zip to make the ugly face.
When it was time to say goodbye, Rachael helped us. If you've ever had to do this to one of your animals, I don't have to go into any details about how terrible it is to have to come to this decision, and how devastating it is. Having the ability to say goodbye to Rosa in our own home, with the least amount of stress on her as possible was such a blessing. Rachel is skilled, compassionate and we forever thank her.
I have four cats in the care of Dr. Feigenbaum and I couldn't be happier about that! My first cat... love of my life, is 15yr old, and she was rapidly loosing weight. After several very expensive visits to a specialist and no resolution, I finally went to Dr. Feigenbaum. ONE visit and she figured it out! She's so smart, so attentive, so patient, caring and thorough! I feel so relieved to have found her!! I feel like I can rest and know that we're in very good hands. Being that I have four cats, we have some behavioral issues. Dr. Feigenbaum is treating those as well. So far so good! She's just amazing! You can tell she really truly cares and that feels great.

Dr. Feigenbaum is the best vet I have ever had and that's saying a lot. I have probably had (5) different vets in the Bay Area over the years and while all were quite good, Dr. Feigenbaum is fantastic! Currently my dog Soleil suffers from arthritis and some nerve damage in her back legs. At 14 years old, my Lab is everything to me and when she was running out of options when we decided to try acupuncture and Chinese herbs. She is doing great after only 6 - 7 weeks and she doesn't mind the procedure at all! Dr. Feigenbaum is so gentle and insightful, I trust her totally with the care of my beloved companion!

My husband and I entrust Dr. Rachael with our precious POODLE Nadine. Dr. Rachael is our gift from the universe. We could give you many examples of how she has cared for Nadine and US TOO. It is wonderful to know a traveling Vet. It's like the *old days* when you received one-on-one care from a physician who truly cared for you and your family. I am spreading the word Lotus Veterinary House Calls is the new way to care for your most precious family member.
