      Pros:
-Lack of bulletproof glass gives customer a sense of being respected.
-Best selection of Malbec I have seen ANYWHERE!
-Large store that hosts tastings in the back.
      -Owners are community oriented.
      -Prices are reasonable.

      Cons:
Too far away from my apartment, but willing to travel for good wine.

The selection and hours kept me coming back, so for that I'd give them 5 stars. However, for the last decade I've been shopping here and their old location, the service has been consistently dodgy. In person they seem great and interested in accommodating customers, while simultaneously having an aura of false promises and empty "yessing" you to death. Overall, still nothing to be that torn up about.

The loss in rating lies with their lack of consistency with delivery and customer service. Sometimes they say they can't deliver because of staffing (totally understandable, no foul), when other times they say they don't deliver at all and never have (even though I have had delivery countless times). Other times I've been hung up on, told that I didn't place an order, told my card didn't work but they didn't bother to call back, simply don't deliver, blah blah blah......In summary: horrible customer service via phone.

If they elevate their service for in person AND delivery customers, or at the very least maintain some kind of delivery schedule or something, I might be persuaded by a champagne-induced love spell to amend my review! Otherwise, no más! This tippler will topple on down the road to Harlem Vintage!

Changed their name and possibly moved a few stores down i think they said to LOT 125.
They had plenty of chilled Asti in the fridge, which was exactly what I was looking for. Prices were modest, just right.
They were also doing taste samplings of some of sweet port/cognac at 11pm.

I'm surprised that such a nice liquor store exists in this neighborhood. They actually have a really big selection of wine at a wide range of price points. Most of the liquor is kept behind the counter, where taciturn yet helpful employees will grab it for you. I've never asked any of them for their opinion on anything, nor have they offered. It's not that kind of wine store, I guess.

      Prices seem okay.

There is a small (like 3 supermarket refrigerator doors' worth) selection of chilled champagne and wine. I don't think they actually sell any beer in the store at all, which, now that I think about it, surprises me.

First time into this liquor store, but I think that it has become the best one in the area. The one located at broadway and Lasalle is awful and tiny. Lot 125 has lots of space, a huge wine selection and they have a nice amount in a fridge in the back of the store.

The liquor selection isn't top notch, but close. Definitely the best selection in the area as well. They also offer free delivery (not sure what the minimum is though).

I've frequented many liquor stores in my short lifetime and I have to say that Lot 125 is impressive. It's literally wall to wall of all sorts of wines and spirits (with the cheaper options below and the top shelf options... toward the top shelf). The store's layout if geographic on the right side (for the wines) and by liquor type on the left, strategically behind the ultra long counter). Amazingly, Lot 125 is unlike its neighboring stores and does not sport bulletproof glass anywhere.

What is ironic about Lot 125 is the selection. While Lot 125 has a lot of amazing items (like a stock of Thai whiskey, imported from Thailand) it doesn't have everything you would expect it to (like wines from NY vineyards like Pindar and Duckwalk in the NY wines section). Also, the staff and service are a little inconsistent. They practically ignored me yet practically kissed this woman's snow-stained shoes as soon as she walked in.

I have become a regular customer here because of the wine selection and excellent service. The staff are friendly and actually know about the bottles they are selling. The wine is a little more expensive than the liquor store around the corner, but it is a higher quality selection.

A "high brow" liquor store on 12 5th street. Quite a decent wine selection actually. Not sure they know there wine so well...but it WAS an impressive selection instead of going downtown or uptown to Columbia Wines. However, if you're looking for cheap booze, go to one of those liquor shops w/ the bullet proof glass. You're much more likely to find a good price!

The lack of bulletproof glass makes this my favorite neighborhood liquor store. It's the nicest in Harlem that I know of, so I'll take the extra walk over. Their liquor selection is far better than their wine, even though they have a ton of it. The long shelves of wine look impressive from the street but a lot of it is bad and overpriced. There are some decent bottles when you're in a pinch--they have most standards, but for something special go to Harlem Vintage. Liquor prices are okay, and they have a variety of tequilas and whiskeys. Staff is friendly.
