When the temperature is 100 +, we head out to Lost Lake.  The water is FREEZING, but oh it feels so good.  Don't leave the children too long in the water, you will notice that their lips will start turning blue from the icy water!

There are bbq and picnic areas and lots of shade.  There is also an area where you can play volleyball.  There are a couple of hiking trails, but I haven't ventured on them in a very long time.

Lost Lake is a great starting point for kayaking and canoeing down the river.

The entrance fee is $7.  Not a boating area, the waters are shallow and there are no launching areas.
