Some of the clothes are just precious. A few oddball things, but overall great store for vintage clothes and accessories. Prices seem fair. Staff is great.

Review from Haroun K.
I didn't think I would be allowed into Lost and Found, because I am not hip or cool or any other such adjective.
I did make it inside, and I was very impressed. First of all, there was 70s mood music playing in the background, which made me feel like I was in a Boogie Nights sort of movie...well almost.
I found a really nice tie I ended up wearing to a party that very night. And also a blazer which fit like a glove, a very old glove. The prices were quite decent.
I probably am not going to become a vintage regular, but for someone who really hates shopping, I found shopping here pretty fun! -
Review from Sam G.
There is A LOT of polyester here! No joke! Definitely a bona fide retro store in that aspect. I personally would love to see more cotton or fabrics that don't make me smell like an acrid slab of meat at the end of the day but that's just me.
That aside, there are some good finds here! Aaaand they're not horrifically overpriced like most 'vintage stores.'
Women's wear on the top floor, men's on the bottom. Dressing rooms are on the bottom as well. No bathroom inside (but you can go across the street to Five15 - free wifi there, too).
On the women's floor there are mostly dresses in ALL sizes - also some skirts and two-piece suits, sweaters and shirts. What I like most is that the sections are divided into type of garb and COLOR, not size. This really helps me since I am the queen of black and grey. Narrows down my choices. Besides, sizes vary too much to rely on numbers anyway.
There are also some fur coats on the second floor - if you're going to buy fur, for goodness sake buy it used! Keep the garment alive and wear it for all its worth. That's my take on it, anyway. Then at least you're not supporting the industry.
But what I really love? The great collection of women's '40s and '60s styled hats - their selection ebbs and flows but I find this to be the most impressive part of the store.
On the entry-level floor there is a sizable selection of vintage-y belt buckles, jewelry, postcards, and the like. Fun to poke around in and particularly good for gifts.
The men's floor has so much flannel you'll think you walked into a lumber jack outfitters! Also has lots of t-shirts. And a whole room dedicated to military garb with some seriously nice coats. From what I noticed, mostly larger sizes here - not much heroin-chic.
The women working here are remarkably outgoing and friendly, especially considering that this is a vintage shop (a genre of stores infamous for fashionista clerks who just don't give a damn about much of anything except proving their superiority).
The friendly staff might also account for the cross-section of shoppers. From the elderly, to middle-aged, to young bloods - from hipsters to Americana - lots of people browse about.
And if you finish browsing before your company does, there is a comfy bench (and I think sofa on the other side?) where you can rest your weary butt. Er, head. Feet. And back.
Overall not a lot of clothing in my style - more '70s hippy inspired or scrunch-wasted summer dresses (hence I would rate it three stars). But any time I'm in the area I have to pop in and rummage. Good mellow atmosphere without pretense and great knick-knacks (and for this I lean toward four stars).Listed in: Here, I Got You This, treasures and gramma smells

Review from Jasti S.
Love love LOVE! There's a huge selection of everything in here, even records and kitschy knick-knacks. And the staff is great--very friendly and quick to help.
Compared to other vintage stores, I feel like the prices are more reasonable. I saw a pair of Frye books in mint condition for $65. Men and women alike can spend a lot of time, and drop a lot of dollars in this store. Especially for this upcoming fall, since I saw tons of great leather jackets under $100.
Though there were lots of treasures here, I only came away with a really cool '70s stripe crocheted sweater/swingy cardigan jacket for $28 (I swear this same piece would be $50+ in DC).
They do lose a star for having so many damaged dresses at as-is prices that weren't reasonable. I'm not paying $30 for a dress that has multiple stains or rips. If a vintage item looks damaged beyond repair, then it usually is. Any vintage fashionista/o knows this. -

New York, NY
I have friends that shop second hand all the time. And I always admire the items they find. Myself, on the other hand, have tried vintage shopping many times and have always walked away frustrated and empty handed. It is too overwhelming for me. When I shop, I want the garment to jump out at me and scream "Buy me!!". I just don't have the patience to sift through racks after racks. And as a result, I completely avoid second hand stores.
While hanging out the other day in Royal Oak, I decided to stop into Lost and Found Vintage and give vintage shopping another chance. Lost and Found Vintage is Michigan's premier vintage clothing store. It's also the go-to vintage spot for traveling celebrities, bands, film crews and fashion designers seeking inspiration.
I browsed through some of the racks and found a really cute jumper but I was too lazy to try it on. I think I went through 2 racks and was already tired of browsing. I put the jumper back and started walking to the front door when Amanda, the sales person, asked if I wanted to try on anything. Since she asked, I told her "yes" and picked the jumpsuit back up to try on. I told her my frustrations with vintage shopping and she asked me what type of garments I wanted. I told her that I was looking for 60's style dresses that were full and flirty. While in the dressing room, she ended up pulling dresses that perfectly fit my description. I just started trying them all on. Thanks to Amanda, I ended up with 2 cute dresses and I also bought a crinoline to wear underneath to give the dresses more fullness. -

Chicago, IL
Oooh, how on Earth is it possible I'd never been here before Thursday? I really have no idea (well, it probably hasn't been there very long, and I no longer live in MI, so I haven't spent tons of time there in a few years), but man, I'm glad I went in.
I love vintage dresses, and have lately been on a quest for a new one. I haven't worn a vintage dress in years, but only because I live nowhere near any vintage stores in Chicago (not that they don't have them, they're just out of range for me). So I was excited to walk by the other day, and I knew I had to go in. Everything is so reasonably priced, unlike many other vintage shops. That's a big plus to someone on a budget like me.
The staff was friendly when we interacted, but the two that were there were more interested in chatting with each other and fooling around. Honestly, when you've been working ALL day and it's an hour and a half before closing, is totally understandable and I had no problem with it-they were there when I needed help. I'm pretty sure they were both sleep deprived, they were so goofy.
Anyway. I didn't find anything that worked for me that day. See, back in the 50s-70s, most women didn't have the bust size I do unless they were large everywhere (I take a small), so the dresses that I tried on fit until I got to the top, and then they wouldn't zip. Oh well.
So I went home disappointed. There was actually a really pretty pale yellow dress that was too small on top that I kept thinking about. I figured I could re-purpose (read: Have my Momma do it, because I have no skillz) it into a skirt and figure out something else to do with the extra fabric (it hit me halfway down my calves). So on Friday, I grabbed my backpack and umbrella and headed out.
I had much better luck on Friday. Yay! I found a great peach colored summer dress for $28, and a cute brown & blue floral print fall dress for $24. On my way to check out, I stopped at a table with several clutches, and I spotted one that was a few shades deeper than the peach dress for $18. Score! It goes perfectly with my new dress. Annoyingly, somewhere along the way, the tie for the peach dress got lost, so I'll have to find something for it because it's just a little bit too big. I wore it today to the flower shop and got lots of compliments.
Even more exciting is the fact that I discovered the peach dress has pockets! I love pockets in dresses, they're so much fun. I'm actually sitting here writing my review on the couch in it.
I love this store. It's organized really well-I love that the clothes are fairly well organized by color. It's actually pretty impressive considering how many clothes they have.
I did not purchase the yellow dress because it was just too long and too big to turn into a skirt. Would've needed taking in and a lot of work. Probably wouldn't have been worth the money. Oh well.
Saturday had two very helpful and nice ladies working. I appreciated that I could get their opinion when I wanted it, and one of them helped me decide to get my dresses. Thanks! Great items, I'll be back many times in the future I'm sure. I actually can't wait to take my MIL here-it seems like a place she'd love. I'd take my own mother, but vintage clothes scare her (She's very much "Aaah! I used to wear this stuff! Make it go away!"), so I don't plan to. Oh well. Her loss. -

THIS IS THE BEST VINTAGE SHOP OF ALL TIME!!
everything here is reasonably priced. they are all vintage enough to be legit vintage.
i got a lace top for 5 bucks. salvatore ferragamo shoes for 18.
their vintage tees can get pricey. each shirt runs about 10-15 dollars.
all their shoes are from size 6-8 mostly. too bad i had to squeeze in mine. but all the shoes they have are really cute. the staff definitely have the eye for good stuff.
if you are into that 40's 50s 60s retro look definitely look into here. they have some legit coats, hats and dresses from those decades.Listed in: Michiganism

This is my new favorite vintage shop in the United States.
The women's section is organized by color, along with a few center racks to highlight extra-awesome seasonal offerings. I didn't even make it to check out the men's section because I was overwhelmed by the fabulously priced hats and shoes (mint condition Ferragamos for $24? Yes, please!) and didn't make it downstairs.
Five drawers full of gloves, old unused greeting cards, well-priced crinolines, and plenty of other neat accessories. The displays are thoughtfully set up (YES, you do need those lavender pumps to go with your Easter outfit). I loved how the shop was laid out -- although I was dazzled by everything I saw, I was still able to navigate my way through the store.
I spoke with the cashier about their small-ish Etsy shop, and she said they had definite plans to expand their online offerings. Excellent news! -

I have been shopping at Lost and Found since 2003, and have sung its praises to many of my fellow metro-detroiters. I appreciate the ability to lose myself amongst the racks upon racks of clothing from decades-past. Unfortunately, a recent interaction at the store has left me feeling disrespected, belittled, and unwanted. I bought an item at Lost and Found a few weeks ago, noting that the receipt warns that there are "no returns" (NO mention of NO exchanges). I gave an article of clothing as a Christmas gift, and unfortunately, the item doesn't fit the recipient. This friend of mine went to the store today to exchange this VERY recently purchased, never worn, tagged item for store credit, NOT CASH, and was treated like garbage by the employees at Lost & Found. They literally laughed at her and spoke down to her as if she didn't matter. Sorry, Lost and Found, the recent positive feedback you've gotten from local news outlets won't last if you treat local customers like garbage. Remember, we buy the bulk of your merchandise, not the celebrities visiting for a few days while filming movies. You keep looking down upon the locals and we'll surely find another, more accommodating and hospitable shop to frequent!

Royal Oak is lucky to have Lost & Found as one of it's many eclectic stores. L&F may be the best vintage clothing store I've ever been in. Located on Washington Street, Lost & Found is actually pretty easy to find. I've been here many times with friend and yelper Jeffrey B.
First, the vintage clothes are all nice and in good condition. Tommy, the owner, and the other employees do a really good job with buying. They only have interesting, true vintage pieces that are hard to find somewhere else. This isn't the local resale shop who thinks 2001 is vintage. You can find dresses from the '20s, suits from the '70s, coats from the '60s and t-shirts from '80s. The selection is large and is always changing.
Second, this place isn't the biggest store ever, but it's not over crowded. The clothing is laid out and organized in a logical, helpful way. It's easy to browse the clothes and find exactly what you're looking for. The upstairs is women, the downstairs is men and the front is accessories.
Third, (I think this is what separates L&F from others) the staff here is amazing. All of the women who work here are friendly and professional. From the instant you talk to them you can tell they love their job and they know what they're talking about. All of them love vintage clothing and they want to make sure you walk out of the store with some great new vintage clothes.
If you are ever lost and you need to find a new outfit, this is a place to go so you can show the world you've got style and character.Listed in: Locally Owned Specialty Stores

I don't know where I'm goin'
but I sure know where I've been
hangin on the promises of the songs of yesterday
And I've made up my mind-- I ain't wastin no more time
but here I go again... here I go again..
Tho' I keep searchin for an answer
I never seem to find what I'm lookin' for...
Okay, enough whitesnake.
so Lost and Found Vintage IS what I've been lookin' for and I will surely go back again and again and again. They have EVERYTHING. Their stock ranges from the 1930's to 1990's to Rock-a-billy. It's two levels of pure vintage bliss.
It's not dirt cheap, but it leaves you with enough dough in your wallet to go out and show off your snazzy 60's digs.
They also buy clothing, which I have yet to try... and considering my current financial state... I might be dropping some clothes off in the very near future-- more to come once I've done that! -

A green t-shirt that at the bottom says "Linwood Michigan, where the North begins." The state of MI as the backdrop and a fish in the foreground with a hook in it's mouth and the saying "Catch Our Allure."
Get it? A - lure? Get it?
Alright slightly lame but I did think it was funny enough to buy for my girlfriend for one of those "thanks for sticking around" gifts and she seemed to enjoy it... although she didn't think it was near as funny as I did.
This store pretty much rules. The clothes are slightly off kilter from your standard vintage store and the belt, boot and hat selections are killer! I need to go back when I've got some time to try some stuff on... there are a lot of really cool spring or fall jackets here and even a couple of really awesome winter ones.
The staff was mega nice and the layout works really well (girls up, boys down). -

Washington, DC
Lost and Found definitely has a pretty good selection as far as vintage stores go, and it's less overwhelming than Mother Fletcher's in Ferndale. However, the prices are sometimes a lot to handle. Their t-shirts usually run at about $20, which is a lot when something at the Salvation Army is $3 and there's no difference in quality. (After all, it's just a t-shirt; can we call a spade a spade?)
I definitely enjoy shopping here and looking around, but more often than not, I talk myself out of something because it's just a little more than I think I should be paying for it. (Of course, this is a dilemma with almost any secondhand store, which is why this gets four stars. This issue is by no means unique.) -

For those of you that are exhausted with the mass production of clothing and drained from purchasing conveyor belt threads then Lost and Found vintage is the place for you. This vintage clothing haven has a little, or a lot for any guy or gal looking to freshening up their wardrobe or snag a unique gift.
Moving from Fourth Street to Washington Ave. just under two years ago, Lost and Found has become a well established and appreciated boutique among locals. Offering a wide range of wares shoppers of all demographics should be satisfied with what the quaint and clever boutique has to offer.
Decorated with black velvet paintings and art as kitschy and clever as the clothes, Lost and Found vintage is as welcoming to veteran vintage shoppers as it is to newbies. Delving into the endless jungle of vintage ware it seems almost in possible that any shopper will walk out empty handed. The rack of dresses are well organized, mainly by color, and makes an experience that could be easily overwhelming, uncomplicated and outrageously enjoyable.
In addition to the endless selection of dresses that vary from June Clever conservativeness, to the sexy minis of the 70's to sharp two piece suits of the 50's. In addition a wide selection of shoes, handbags, boots and belts help fill this charming boutique to its 3 floored brim.
Although the store's men's selection is not as nearly as bountiful as the ladies, Lost and Found still has a healthy dose of vintage fare for the guys including t-shirts, pants, shoes and accessories such as beer company themed belt buckles. Along with the men's section, patrons can find an array of soul, rock, and funk records for sale and are often spinning while you're shopping
The clothes only make part of the experience. Lost and Found vintage also offers a staff that is knowledgeable (ask them about textiles, labels, sizing....), cheery, and never ever pushy when it comes to purchases. If you visit the store ask for Yvonne, she will undoubtedly find the perfect addition to your wardrobe, record collection, or jewelry box. If you're looking for an outfit for Saturday night, prom or the company holiday party this is the place to do it, from head to toe. -

I must admit, I felt a little out of place at first when I walked into Lost and Found. A friend had introduced me to it and I just went along for the ride. I wouldn't consider myself a 'hipster' or into vintage, but I can go with anything. Once I went in, I found tons of really nice vintage stuff that even someone with pretty basic fashion tastes such as myself can enjoy. I have gone back many times, and the help is really wonderful! I sat and chatted with Amanda for almost an hour, and Yvonne is also great!
It doesn't matter how you dress Lost and Found has something for you. -

Hazel Park, MI
I'm not typically able to shop at vintage stores because everything is too tiny for me, but I can tell a good place when I see it. They are clearly very selective here, while still offering a lot, and everything is well organized (by color) and in good condition. The prices are reasonable and the staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Most places I've been, I've just been left to fend for myself to sift through the junk to find the gems. There were at least a dozen things here that I would have bought if they'd have fit me. At Lost and Found, they are definitely willing to help you look for something in particular, if you want the help. They've also got some great shoes and accessories to complete any looks. If you've got some time, you will definitely find some great pieces for your collection.
Also, it didn't smell thrifty and musty like most vintage/thrift places. That was definitely refreshing. I can't wait to go back! -

I love this place! High-quality merchandise, a wide variety of styles and sizes (the latter of which is surprising for a vintage shop, in my experience), and although it isn't cheap, I never feel like I'm overpaying with my purchases. As others have mentioned, the dress selection is especially impressive.

I've decided to edit my review of this place. I had originally given it only one star because I had experience such bad service from one of the sales staff. Below you will see my original review. I'm now giving it 5 stars! My husband and I went to royal oak today and ended up parking right in front of the store. We laughed and decided to go in just for shits and giggles and to see if hopefully the last sales person was not there. She wasnt!! Thank goodness, they had two very friendly sales people there. One girl, who smiled as soon as we walked in and said hi. The other fellow was really cool and friendly as well and had great style, I even wanted to buy his grey furry coat which I didnt realize was his until I asked if I could try it on. LOL This is the way this type of place should be run. Fashion is supposed to be fun, not stuck up and snotty. I asked the guy the same question I asked the last time. "Do you have any Zandra Rhodes'. He wasnt familiar with the designer but immediately went back and ask his boss and came back with my answer. They didnt have any but thats besides the point. We then talked about how her peices would fit in good with the store aesthetics.
I ended up buying a really cute sweater and vintage Escada blouse, both peices didnt even total $40! I definitely will return again and buy more! Sorry for offending any loyal shoppers and michiganites. I'm keeping my old review here below just because I want to show how much of an improvement I saw today. Maybe I was also a little homesick at the time. Its been over a year in michigan and its getting better all the time. :-)

I recently moved to Michigan and I read some positive reviews about Lost and Found Vintage and decided to give it a try while my boyfriend and i waited for a table at Cafe Amuse. (which by the way, was the greatest dining experience I've had since I have been here, will write good review on that later ) Big mistake in trying Lost and Found vintage. I asked the sales girl a few questions about vintage clothing and if they would be interested in buying a few of my items. She looked at me with a blank stare and said 'What???'. Not a good start. Then instead of searching through all of the racks of clothes, i asked her if she had any vintage peices from Vivienne Westwood or Zandra Rhodes. She told me no, they didnt and that if we ever did get those types of peices in, they would be sold before they ever got to the store. The owner apparantly sells privately to select customers. I understand this concept completely, however, considering I was expressing an interest in the designer pieces, she should have taken it a step further and taken down my information to give to the owner, so that I may too be able to take advantage of that service. In this economy and in Michigan where it is the highest unemployment rate in the country, this sales clerk should be lucky to have a job at all. With the way she provides service,I dont expect she'll be employed much longer. Michigan is nice, but I'm a little underwhelmed with the fashion here. Anyone know of any places that are better quality, better service and sell designer pieces, let me know. -

Spacious store with lots of unique pieces to look through. As a plus size woman, I didn't have much luck with clothing, but the jewelry and trinkets kept me occupied. My friend picked up a beautiful dress, moderately priced. Staff was very friendly. I'd love to check it out again sometime.

Lost and Found Vintage is by far the best vintage store in the area. It's my hands-down favorite vintage shop EVER. The selection of women's clothing is amazing (especially the dresses!) and it is really reasonably priced for vintage. Another reviewer mentioned that the prices are more expensive than Salvation Army, but that is to be expected. I like shopping at the thrift store too, but at a store like this you're paying a little extra for them to do the work of finding the treasures for you. The stock is great and changes quite a bit, the displays are darling and the staff is fantastic.

This is the perfect example of what a good vintage store should be. The prices are right, the clothes have good variety and I go pretty often, they constantly are updating with new merchandise. They have a pretty decent record selection along with lots of cool jewelry, belts and some really unique vintage clothes. My qualm with most vintage stores is they're typically a big mess, but Lost and Found has everything laid out and organized in a way that makes it easy for the shopper to see everything and it does the clothes justice as well. The layout and decor in the place also adds to the experience. It's a must shop for any vintage lover!

The store is clean and well organized, men clothing is down-stairs women up-stairs, all the clothing is put in it's own category, tee shirts are just tees shirts (even racked by color), long sleeve, short sleeve, coats, etc all find their respective place. Certainly not thrift store prices but you won't find a cool selection like this at the goodwil, and still cheaper than buying new, well worth the $ if you ask me. The staff is nice, and I LOVE the vintage cash register on the way out.

Like a lot of the other people mentioned the have a lot of dresses here. I was hoping to see more of a selection of shirts and blouses here though. I also would have liked to see more jeans. The ones I did look at were so small they looked like kids sized. The prices were alright some stuff seemed a little high. They have a good selection of scarfs and accessories in general. The men's section was awesome. They had a lot of cool jackets and button downs. I was tempted to buy this lavender ruffle tuxedo shirt for myself. :) The place was set up very nicely and everything was easy to navigate.

Wow! I think I've died and gone to vintage heaven! As a girl who lived and died for great vintage finds while living in NYC and SF, this place was a crazy wonderful find!
Amazing selection of scarves and dresses. Prices are super low for the quality that is offered as well. Yes, it is higher than the local Sal's boutique (Salvation Army for those not in the "know") but the owner has an obviously good eye. Largest selection of "Vera" scarves I've ever seen - all around the $12-$18 price range.
Ladies: If it's a dress you are looking for - then this is the place for some unique 60's, 70's or 80's finds. Me personally, I love the 50's esthetic and was blessed to find a gorgeous cotton black 50's flair dress that fit me like a glove.
Men: Amazing "western" shirt selection and vintage t-shirts. Also great Wranglers at prices that are half of what I've ever seen elsewhere.
Super nice and helpful staff as well. Yes, it is a little "hipster" paradise in the middle of Michigan - and I'm not afraid to profess my love for this place in public! -

Lost and Found Vintage is great place to find clothes no matter what you are looking for. It can be pricey but their refined collection of vintage is well organized and very easy to shop. Unlike generic thrift stores where you can spend hours sifting through garbage to find one good item, you'll have no trouble finding what you're looking for. Lost and Found also carries a good amount of men's clothing. If you're unsure of vintage and how it can fit into your wardrobe, you should try Lost and Found. You'll definitely take home something good.

Brooklyn, NY
I have been shopping at Lost and Found ever since they opened their original location on 11 mile. Let me tell you, it just gets better and better. I have ALWAYS been able to find things there; it's so reliable, so well-stocked, and just a fun place to hang out. They have lots of casual clothes (blouses, vests, blazers, shoes) plus a large selection of dresses.
Shopping for vintage clothes can be very intimidating. It's hard to decide what you'd actually wear, hard to decide if it's worth paying for, and hard to thumb through the racks of so many individual and unique items. That's why I love L&F--they always have well-styled inspiration outfits on the mannequins and the selection is very well-organized by style and color. Prices are fair and they always have original versions of the current vintage-inspired trends.
The set up of the boutique is extremely shopper-friendly. It's a split-level arrangement with jewelery, glasses, accessories and trinkets in the lobby area, with women's on the upper level and men's on the lower. It's not overly crowded, and decorated in a cute, hip, non-pretentious way. Dressing rooms are roomy and clean. The women who work there (so friendly, helpful but not overbearing) are always spinning old records to add to the ambiance.
But enough of the superficial stuff. Let's touch on prices. I have been to MANY vintage stores in my life, and I am always pleased with L&F's pricing. Obviously, it's more expensive than a regular thrift store. It is a boutique. You pay for the selection and quality, which you don't have to hunt down yourself at garage sales. That being said, you're really getting a great deal anyway. Casual dresses are about $15-24, nicer ones about $30-40, and the beautiful formal dresses are appropriately higher-priced, $100- $200. I'd rather buy a high-quality, gently used, unique vintage piece than spend the same money on some cheap piece of mass-produced crap at the mall ANY day. For reference, prices are less then Mother Fletcher's (a store I like, but also find to be overwhelming), but pricier than Detroit Threads (which I also like, but the selection tends to be quite static)
Once you've been shopping for vintage in a city like New York, you will appreciate the selection, price, and atmosphere of Lost and Found tenfold. I love it love it love it!!
(Oh, and one more thing...don't be intimidated if you're not a 20 year-old, skinny jeans-wearing, fixie-riding hipster. There is something for everybody there! Hipsters included) -

They have an excellent collection of men's and women's vintage clothing and accessories. However, it is fairly skewed to the 60s-70s, at least in the men's selection. Good selection of ties, scarves, jewelry, etc. Pretty funky, authentic stuff from all over the world.

I'm a costumer for Avon Players Community Theater - I was looking for some fancier 1959 style dresses - I was referred to Lost & Found by a fellow costumer. I went last Saturday and was in "Vintage Heaven" - they had so much to choose from I had a hard time making up my mind! The prices were much more reasonable than things I had seen at other vintage stores and/or online vintage. I totally disagree with the poster who said the gals were not helpful to her - they were more than friendly with me - helped me figure out what would work for my show - and even negotiated a few prices! I will be back and will refer all of my fellow costumers!

This is the place to go for one of a kind vintage pieces. Very cute stuff. I have found several belts/necklaces here that recieve compliments every wear. Just allow yourself a bit of time to rummage, that is how you will find the good stuff.

I've been to Lost and Found Vintage probably 5-10 times. They have stuff for men and women....I will review the men's stuff....they carry shirts (a lot of western button downs), jackets, t shirts, jeans, pants, hats, ties, boots, and shoes. Everything is well organized by what it is (duh) and the t shirts are seperated by color. I consider Lost and Found more of a true vintage store and everything is just that....you won't find any used nike's or H & M stuff that came out a year ago like you will at other resale shops. I think this place is a little over-priced. An example, was $70 for a brown leather jacket or $50 for a parka. Not too bad but comparing it to other places in the area (say Regeneration) I could buy something comparable and save $10. Maybe for a snob who needs to say something is this or that like the pretentious reviewer on here from fancy shmancy New York but now lives in ghetto ridden Ypsilanti. The staff is usually friendly..they also have a small selection of used/new records in the back. They will list records as original pressing when they are not. I'm sure it's not intentional they probably just don't know better. I know my vinyl.....
