inexpensive hole in the wall. place is a bit dirty and run-down. you get a sense of the place by using the restroom. also the items in the store are kinda like a museum-- probably zero turnover. stuff is sticky and dusty.
food was ok however.
had a beef quesadilla, chimichanga, burrito plate, the tortillas were crisped nicely, gristle in the beef
chips not very fresh, 3 sauces.
wish they had served some lettuce with the plate.

definitely above average for Mexican food _in Miami_, and fairly underappreciated in this regard. Coming from California by way of Chicago which both have superb Mexican cuisine, I wouldn't travel across any county lines to get here though.
This is definitely one of the better place in Miami to have Tex-Mex / Mexican food (norteno style). It is really a hole-in-a-wall and it has cute colorful Mexican decorations. There is also a little Mexican store attached selling Mexican knick-knacks.
Prices are pretty good, but expect to be charged extra for whatever extra stuff you would like (even sour cream).
Parking is scarce, I ended up parking at Wendy's next door. However, I found out that there's metered parking on the street at the back of the place. Make your pick. :-)
REVISITED: While the food is still decent, I had to bump this one down a bit because people working here should not have allowed someone to bug-spray the restaurant while we were eating! That's worse than sweeping by the table!
