Love the sun!
Love the bar!
Love the pool menu!
Great way to spend the day!
Pool is open and you should be hitting up Los Laureles for some sun and fun. Fun meaning some lovely cocktails and a sweet tan job. Love the bar here and the staff.
Only pool in Monterey Peninsula that serves up food and adult beverages period. Love it!

I've been to a wedding rehearsal dinner here back in 2002. Nice place to host one although I had… Read more »
You could not pay me to stay at this place again.
On first impression I fell in love with the charming place, but it was dark when we arrived. The Saloon was the best part of the place with its victorian charm. Mario, the bartender was a real character with his stiff drinks, I thought we were in for a great weekend. The father-daughter duo on the piano and vocal was great as well. and as we drifted off to sleep in our tiny room I was content. However, the next day....
I went down to the pool to relax, and that is where it all went wrong.
The bartender seemed to know most everyone poolside, and seemed to think that it was okay to use words like "faggot" and refer to everything as "gay." I was appalled, I did not think that I was in Northern California at all but somewhere else far far away.
As if that were not enough, the next morning the hotel had no hot water, at all. And when we went to check out and mentioned it to the front desk, she kind of laughed and said off handedly "oh that sucks" not even bothering to apologize for the cold start to our morning.
You could not pay me to stay at this place again.
Los Laureles Lodge really has some of the best food around. It's sort of a secret I'm guessing. The staff and service are outstanding. It's like every single person who works there has ownership in the place even when they don't.
Having lunch in the summer when the weather is nice also provides a lovely view of the pool and all the bathing beauties. There is also food and bar service at the pool when it's open. This is one of the only lodges that lets non-guests use their pool for a small fee.

This is probably the most underrated restaurant in Carmel Valley Village.
Beautiful restaurant, great staff and excellent food and wine. Go early and have a drink in the bar or on the patio.
This is a must-stop restaurant in Carmel valley.
