7 reviews for Los Gatos Brewing Company
For a Friday lunch, this place was not all that busy. The location is good, right at the heart of quaint little downtown Los Gatos, on the street lined with plenty of other fun little shops.
The menu had entrees around $15 or more. They also had plenty of sandwiches, around $10 each. The portions were generous and parking on the street was fairly easy to find. It's a brewery, so if you're into trying new brews, this would probably be one of the spots to check out.
After your meal, you could easily just check out the neighborhood and its shops.
Nice selection of beers on tap, I'm a big fan of their hefeweizen. The bar and restaurant is always clean and kempt, the bartenders have always been really friendly and they have plenty of t.v.s to catch the games. The appetizers were pretty tasty, but kind of pricey (Los Gatos effect). Lots of seating in the restaurant and the menu has a good variety. Plenty of parking in the rear parking lot and it's really easy to find.
Went their once on a saturday night, was super busy. So service was extremely slow. Had a burger and a beer. Food was preety standard for a place like this. Had a hefineweizen, beer had traditional germain flair with bananna and cloves, was good overall, Not great though. So probably go somewhere else next time I need a good fresh local beer.
I've passed by this place many times and finally decided to give it a try. Came here for an early dinner one night and I have to say, their food was better than I'd expect from a brewing company'esque restaurant. Not to mention a great selection of beers to go along with it! The atmosphere was pretty nice too; great mix of customers from a bunch of friends kicking it and enjoying some drinks to families enjoying a meal.
A great place to go on a Friday night after a long week of hard work to kick off a weekend! Its pretty classy yet very laid back with the stone walls and high ceiling! The atmosphere is mellow the the food is pretty decent. I had the "di Melanzane e Pomodori" (linguine with tomatoes, roasted eggplant, garlic and basil) and it was perfect! Not too oily and all the flavors just right! My bf had the filet mignon with the portabello mushrooms and the steak was very juicy! Its just too bad we're not much of beer drinkers because they had a great selection! We made it up by ordering dessert.........Tiramisu! The presentation was something that you'd get at a 5 star restaurant with the chocolate and mint leaves decorating the dessert. The size of it was enough to be shared by 4 people. It was the best part of the dinner, even better than the main course!
A nice, fun place to enjoy a decent meal. Good selection of food, great choice of good beers. Great place with kids too. Service is good and friendly. Not that cheap but then it's still reasonable value for money.
amazing. great four bears wine. tasty bread. salmon with crab cake nice. creme brule was too die for. a tad expensive. took mom for mother's day.
