First word...CUTE.
Second word...Expensive!
After picking up all the baby basics at Target and Babies R'Us...this boutique is a fun stop to find adorable unique baby items, many of them hand-made. And the squishiest cute plush toys and stuffed animals.
Five stars for their wonderful window displays...whoever does those gets huge props because I have stood drooling in front of this store window YEARS before I ever thought we might decide to have a kid.
Though they are Pricey with a capital P...if you can find something on the discount rack you are a step ahead. And I have found a few deals here and there in this place, along with a few things I have not seen elsewhere. Case in point, adorable little hand-knitted brown and blue hat with an embroidered puppy on it. CUTE!!!!
I love this store, they have a great and unique selections of items, many of the brands they carry I have not seen in other stores. They are very kind and helpful if you're looking for something. My friend and I can never go out empty handed from here. Yes, some of the clothes are expensive, but you have to admit, they're way too cute! they have tons of items at very reasonable prices also.
Sweet baby shop. Limited selection of boys' clothes. Girls have better choices. Love their shoes and great service.
In these rough and depressing economic times (me cursing $4.55 a gallon) I am hard pressed to believe how people are paying $60.00 for a baby's dress.......seriously, and that was the standard in the store. I found a super cute t-shirt and shorts for a 6 month old, for $80.00 ( and no they did not say Michael Stars on them)
The store is jam packed with very cute and excessively over priced baby and toddler clothes and accessories. I walked out with a funny bib and mini blanket - for my friend's shower....I am not expecting, yet.
Anyhow, unless your rollin with Baron Trump, Kingston Rossdale and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt - go to the Carter's outlet on Almaden - where you can buy a $5.00 onesie and not want to beat your kid for spittin up on it.
My first friend is having a baby, and I couldn't finish knitting anything in time for the shower. On the way to the party, I ran in here hoping to find something so I wouldn't look like a complete ass.
The store has beautiful clothing, shoes, and other great gifts. Overwhelming amount of pink and blue. The prices are high (or at least, they were high to this girl who doesn't shop much for babies).
The sales ladies were both very helpful. They knew about the family I was buying presents for and gave me lots of ideas. They also knew I was running late for the shower ("Isn't the shower today?" the lady asked) and were happy to wrap up my gift.
Los Gatos Baby has a lovely selection of baby clothes, blankets, shoes, jewelry, toys and gear/gadgets. It's a great place to shop for special occasion outfits for little ones and also for gorgeous gifts. They carry items you won't see every other kid wearing, but they come at a price. This store ain't cheap. But you do get some quality merchandise and some fabulous service for your money. The girls who work here are so cheery and genuine. Their terrible website is not representative of what you will find in the boutique.
